While there currently is no food being served inside the Longhorn Saloon, what is available is the finest Traditional Country Music, Dancing, Cold Beer and Good Times with an attentive staff and authentic Honky Tonk surroundings that make Texas a great place to live and visit!
Came into town a night before to scout out places to go with 60 Plus Veterans and was supposed to go to a couple other places. We happened to go here and was met by Josh the Bartender, Extremely Friendly and welcoming. After talking to the owner we decided this is where we wanted to take our business the next day. Thank y'all for an awesome time. We had a Blast and will always include your place as our go to place.
Great place to hang out and have fun. Friendly staff, good service great music a d good dance floor
Great music, dancing. Love the older crowd and older music. Had a great time! But was extremely HOT & could have done without the cigarette smoke.
I have Held my annual Billy Bowles Swinging Country & AWA Pre Awards Jam there the last 2 Years and Love The Longhorn Saloon staff very friendly and helpful. The Longhorn Books so many of the Artist I play on Swinging Country year round. It is The place for REAL Traditional Country Music and Western Swing therefore the perfect spot for my Jam. Thanks for ALL you do. Keep Swinging Country :)

Great, attentive waitress - great band- full house for the benefit we attended- & pure Texas setting for a fun afternoon! Thanks Longhorn for having us!
Had such a great time! Cold beer!
Great dance fools and people!
The BBQ chopped sandwich was delish!
It was my first time going I will most definitely go again I enjoyed it it was a nice place to go have some drinks and enjoy the good music in their stuff is amazing I loved it
Food is wonderful. The staff is great. My Dad Les Steward used to own the bar in the 80s
While visiting Fort Worth, we were passing by and decided to check this site.
The people there were very friendly and the atmosphere was amazing!. The dancing door, the music was perfect. I felt transported to old west times.
It was nice to see the people dancing.
I also found the chairs at the bar very special. When you get there, you will see why.
Always a great time! Bartenders are super nice too. We usually start here in the afternoon and make our way down further (or to billy bobs) later.
Great place to mingle with the locals. Everyone from the staff to the patrons was very friendly and inviting.
A must see Honky Tonk
If you’re down with Alan Jackson and George Straight then this is your place!
Really nice place full of memorabilia everywhere you look. Great music playing at all times. Unfortunately they didn’t have anyone performing while I was there on Labor Day weekend 2021 but quite honestly it was such an amazing place and they were playing great music I didn’t mind one bit.
Full bar service with great bartenders.
I can’t wait to one day go back.
Great people, good times... love the music and simply a good time
I loved seeing my music bud. Greg Gibbs show us his amazing talent! But when you drive 2 hours and you're thirsty, it would be nice if the smartmouth bartender/woman treated you with a little respect.
Felt so welcomed here by the locals, staff and owner. Went two nights in a row...the dance floor was made for two stepping....so smooth. Appreciate that no drinks are allowed on the dance floor. The bands were awesome. Drink prices incredibly reasonable. A true country honky tonk.
Didn't eat. But we got beverages & our server was a champion! True vet of the night club!
This place was so much fun and had the best live music!! Had the best time with a local couple! The beer was ice cold! 80% of the people had on boots!
All ways a good time here. The music will be country, and the adult beverages will be cold. A must stop if in the historical Fort Worth Stockyards. Maybe you be lucky enough to hear the proprietor sing, if he does Willie, close your eyes and you'll think Willie is there singing. When I'm in the area, this is where I hold court. If you wanna see me when I'm in my hometown, this is where I'm partying.
Great place to stop and have a drink! The staff were super nice and took great care of us!
Outstanding entertainment all weekend. Excellent ambiance. Covet charge very reasonably priced. Super fun. Looking forward to my next trip.
Rodeo was in town so a lot was going on, but nice western bar in fort worth stockyards. The barstools are fun.
I've been going here for the past several years. In my opinion, the best time to go is from noon to 5 pm. The most wonderful, local people come here to dance. Please come see us if you are interested in a good time.
This place was so awesome!! We met an amazing bartender Mekenzie. The atmosphere was super chill and the drinks were perfect. We will absolutely be back!!
The only busy dancing bar in fort worth during weekdays. Weekends everywhere's busy. Don't miss it. Talk to the lovely locals here and dance. Great bands on too.
It had been years since my husband and I were at the Stockyards at Ft Worth so we checked out several saloons looking for a place to dance. We happened by Lil' Red's, saw a great crowd, heard the band and decided to go in to check it out. The band turned out to be the well known Johnny Bush! Great two steppin', very friendly people and cold beer! A great authentic place to dance and have a good time!
I see a lot of people leave because of the $20 cover charge on the weekends. But to me that's totally worth it, because the environment is so nice and it keeps out the drunken idiots who just want to party and be rowdy. This is our favorite place to go dancing. I also find that the drinks are really reasonably priced which is a nice benefit as well. The cover bands are always really great and occasionally they have excellent original bands as well. All in all I just love this place for numerous reasons.
