Took the parents for their first visit, along with my own little family. The food was fabulous, as always, and Brian was a wonderful and dutiful server, as usual. Sushi Axiom is our favorite sushi spot in Fort Worth. Tonight, my dad had the scallop dynamite. He is not a sushi fan but nearly lucked his plate clean. My mom had the orange chicken and loved it. My son had the Philadelphia role, and the wife and I had the Fiji role and the crouching tiger role. The difference in roll flavor is fantastic and makes it fun to try complimentary flavor combinations. We love Sushi Axiom!
This is one of my go-to place for Sushi. Today, I ordered off the lunch menu. I decided on the Bento Box. It didn't disappoint. It was a nice variety. The fish was fresh. A cup of Miso soup was included with the meal. I walked away satisfied and full.
I've been to this location several times, and it has been consistent. Friendly staff, never super crowded, lots to choose from. My first time, I sat at the sushi bar, and the waiter was so very helpful. He was patient and explained menu options to me and brought me a sorted group so I could learn what I liked and didn't.
The sushi always taste fresh. Presentation varies, but it's always delicious. My only complaint would be to go orders looking rough. And Wasabi and ginger touching my sushi. They serve it on a different pate when you eat inside.
Atmosphere is good, location can be tricky. Service is good, could rotate to table a little more. Only got 2 silverware for 3 people. Food was good and quick. Bill came with one price but after card they added stuff they forgot on the first one. Recommend if in the area for a meal, pretty on par with others in the area.
This is a very nice, high end sushi restaurant. It has very professional staff and excellent food.
We had a reservation for twelve which is a huge logistical pain in the butt, but our evening was very enjoyable with no issues. We had many appetizers, to also include soup and they were all great. The softshell crab was very impressive even to a few guests from Boston and Louisiana who boasted they knew good softshell crab. The dumpling soup is very similar to wonton soup and was delicious!
Too many rolls to name, but they were all great!
My favorite sushi place in town! My favorite fresh fish is salmon, and the quality of the salmon here gets me every time. So fresh, buttery, and always generous sized cuts without the over priced cost compared to other restaurants.
I love the rolls they have here and often get variety of baked and raw. My go-to is the Fiji roll, temptation roll, and their salmon ceviche salad!!! The fried rice is also my favorite. And the drinks - so good and strong too. I recommend this place to anyone that visits town!!
Some of the best sushi we have had in the Fort Worth area. Both very fresh and fast. Plating was beautiful and artistic. The non-sushi items were just as tasty. The martinis are wonderfully huge with fresh flavors, and full force, i.e. you probably won't need more than one especially if you are driving.
Very beautiful always enjoy my evening here
Axiom on Hulen has the best managers and personal service compared to any other sushi restaurant that I've been to in 35 years in Fort Worth TX or Texas for that matter.
Sincerely, HH
Always a consistent experience at this location. I enjoy it more than the packed and frantic w 7th spot. Hulen is darker and more relaxed
We had a great experience! The wait staff was also so good to us! James B!!
So this was my first time here. I've been passing this Gem up for years....What was I thinking. The Decor is Dark but nice. It's not a big place which was cool. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was really good. Will definitely be coming back.
Best food ever. So many options and such a good price
We got two different sushi rolls and some of the entrees. So far everything we’ve tried has been excellent. The prices were pretty standard for Texas sushi, but the quality was really good. The rice on the sushi was sweet and flavorful and the fillings were fresh, pungent and delicious. The beef udon was perfectly cooked, sauced, and was just excellent! We really enjoyed the dining experience
My sister was the one that originally told me about this place since my girlfriend stated she had a taste for hibachi. We arrived, both ordered the salmon plate, but mine had teriyaki and hers was the other other option. We both enjoyed our meals! They have the training chopsticks so I was trying to teach my girlfriend how to use them. It was a memorable experience!
I positively adore Sushi Axiom; I've come here for a couple years, but my experience yesterday was probably my best yet. Our server, Grace, was astounding! She checked in on us to ensure we didn't need anything else and drinks never sat empty for long. With how packed the restaurant was that afternoon, I was impressed! I've been in empty restaurants and waited ten minutes on drinks, but here? No way. Grace was there to save the day.
And the food? Amazing. We ordered teriyaki chicken with vegetables and the colonial rolls (these aren't raw, so if you want to try a sushi roll but aren't ready for raw fish, they're a good start). Everything was on point. I can't recall the last time my mom and I (admittedly mostly me!) finished off an entire order of colonial rolls with none to bring home, but today, my fellow readers, today was that day. While I do not have the names of the cooks, they're doing great work. I highly recommend you swing by Sushi Axiom if you have a chance; they even have a lunch menu available. You won't regret it. Everything from teriyaki chicken to pad thai to california rolls, they probably have something tasty on their menu for you.
Update, 06/10/22: Sushi Axiom continues to amaze. I've had a different server each time I've been here recently, but the service has been great. I still highly recommend that colonial roll; the sushi chefs are positively wonderful!
