As always the food was great. We sat on the patio as we had our dog with us. Weather was windy and it seemed that the staff didn’t want to bring food out. We had to go in and ask about our chips and salsa after 15 minutes and then our food order was never delivered. They had no explanation as to what happened to our order and remade it. Since I’ve been here a lot, I’m going to chalk it up as an off day. The food was amazing as always and there was one staff member who came out to see out dog, talk with us and even brought our dog a treat. Just a reminder to staff that even if the weather is not ideal, your customers on the patio are still hoping to get their food �
We love their regular food! However we had brunch this morning here without realizing they served brunch on Saturday and sundays starting at 10. We had the migas and added the pork to it. It was so delicious! Their Hawaiian mimosa was so refreshing! Check them out for brunch!!
Excellent Brunch....Heuvos Bennidictos...to die for. Great service too boot.
Food was delicious. Enjoyed their Tequila Lime Chicken Burrito Bowl. Outdoor patio is a nice touch when weather gets a bit cooler.

Love this place! The margaritas are soooo strong! One will be enough! The nachos are amazing! And so is the atmosphere! If u go during lunch hours expect to wait a while because it gets packed. I love going after work around 5-ish
Owned by Fuzzy's I believe, and a step above your normal taco place. A little classier and fresher than other taco places in a neat part of town!
Good food but don't plan on having a conversation!. The food is great, but the acoustics are so bad, don't plan on on talking to anyone at your table!
Great food that has been consistent for the last five times I've eaten here. Also, great customer service. Came during busy lunch hour and the lady at the counter didn't hear me correctly when I ordered. When the food came it was wrong so I told them and they immediately fixed it and wouldn't let me pay the difference in price either. Considering it was packed and so loud I was impressed they took time to make it right!! Thank y'all!! :)
Excellent. Fun atmosphere, the fish tacos were better than any fish tacos I had in Florida, and the prices are reasonable. Only concern, not enough seating. I'll be back again!
Love love love this place!!! If you haven't been, you should go!!!! Margaritas are unbelievable!!! Even Frozen screw drivers!!! But the food is really the reason we love this place! From the tacos and HUGE nachos to my favorite, caterpillar roll!!!!! And my husbands favorite is the diablo shrimp!!! This place really is a must go!!!
Fun place. We had a great time. The food was good, margaritas are good and strong, and the service was ok. We seemed to be forgotten by the waitstaff and had to go get silverware and later order drinks at the bar ourselves. I hope this was just an isolated event. To sum it up...Go check it out! its a good place to eat and have drinks. We will return.

Amazing! It was incredible! The original fish tacos were deliciously and especially the spicy tequila shrimp! Great guacamole, queso, and salsa! Its a gourmet Fuzzys Taco Shop!
GREAT LUNCH!. Wifey and I stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday and were thoroughly impressed. Really nice atmosphere, both indoors and outdoors, good service and great food. We had the tequila lime tacos and the chicken tacos, both were really, really good. The habernero sauce on the side along with the regular sauce, chips, and guacamole was exceptional. No complaints and nothing but good things to say about this visit. We will definitely go back for dinner with friends one night. We didn't try the tequila bar, but definitely sounds like fun.

I'm addicted. The nachos are great and so are the tacos. Beautiful presentation and cool atmosphere.
Good for happy hour. I think this is a great place to meet for drinks and snacks. The bartenders & drinks are AMAZING. I would stick to appetizers, and call it a night. I've tried several entrees, and I like their sauces/salsa/guacamole the best. The queso, sadly, had a flour-y taste to it. But it's hard to mess up queso, and I would probably try it again. Next time I meet my girlfriends here, we will sit at the bar & order appetizers.

I've never been disappointed here. There are people who question the authenticity of the food, but fail to remember this place is called YUCATAN. It is a twist on not only southwest cuisine, but also cuisine from Baja Mexico. Keyword: twist. Love the atmosphere as well!

The chicken nachos and fish/shrimp tacos are my favorite. They very well priced. Only complaint is They are a bit cramped and definitely need to expand.

It Ain't The Waldorf, But It's a Great Taco Stand. I found the food and service to be very good and reasonably priced. It was a bit noisy for an old fogey so I look forward to dining outside when the weather allows. I'll go back whenever i'm back visiting family in Cowtown.
Yum!. We went to Yucatan Taco Stand in Southlake and had a great meal. The food was wonderful, fresh and top notch. We had great service too! I had the spicy shrimp burrito and my husband had the mahi mahi and we were both very pleased. The fried cheesecake was wonderful but a little on the small side for $7.The salsa was one of our favorites in town too. We were very pleased with our dinner and plan on returning soon.
Great Tacos!. Delicious tacos. The meat is flavorful and juicy and plentiful. And they have lamb tacos - yes! Their sauces are original and delicious. The nachos are bigger than my head. The margarita's are strong like they should be, and their tequila menu is outstanding.
The decor is far from what you would expect of the name. It's no taco stand. This place gets busy at lunchtime, so go early.
Good stuff...... Recently tried this place for lunch several times and have not been disappointed. Word of Advice: if you want to eat their for lunch during the week, order ahead to avoid the long lines.
Must tries are the Yuca Fries and empanadas and their chips and salsa are just as awesome. Some of the best salsa I have had.
Their nachos are huge and all of their tacos are savory. I really want to try their latin sandwiches and yucatan favorites at my next visit.

Top Notch. My wife & I bought a coupon on restaurants.com for this place because it was a great deal and we're into trying new places around Fort Worth. I'm impressed there are so many great places with such good food here. In Yucatan, we weren't expecting such a cool, chic restaurant & bar. Really. I kinda thought it'd be a gimmicky little place with so-so food. Man was I wrong. This place is now my fave getaway for some great drinks and superb nachos. The shredded brisket/beef specifically. Wow! This is a 2 person item to eat. PIled high with alot of flavor and great, lite, crispy chips. There's quite a diverse menu and everything looked good. But I couldn't take my eyes off those nachos. I'll try something different next time. MAYBE. Cold beer and an array of tequilas to choose from along with really nice ambience made for a great evening.
I didn't know this area of Magnolia was such an artsy neighborhood. Very hip really. There was an art show goin on next door so there were an array of people there. It was a great surprise. We love finding places like this and I'll write about it if it makes an impression with me. I was impressed.
My wife and I went for the first time last Saturday. I had the tequila lime chicken burrito bowl and she had the tequila lime chicken salad. We also had chips queso and salsa. We loved it. The margaritas are awesome! Great atmosphere and quick service.
WOW!!. The Chicken Burrito Bowl could be the BEST meal I've had in Fort Worth! The line moves fast, the prices are great, and the food was really, really fresh and great!
Mmm good. I've been to yucatan twice, and ready to go back and try more. i had the nachos the first time and split them with a friend and there was still some left on the plate. HUGE and DELICIOUS! Last time i went i had the chicken burrito bowl and it was pretty good too. love it just wish it was in sundance square area :)

It kills me to say it but.... This place really does NOT suck! It is fulla lotta hipster D-bags and the like and the staff is all decked out in black like a Dieter & Sprokets episode is aboot to break out, but all told, the birruh is ICE cold and the food is really yummy-yum-yum. It is not a some mucho authentico MexiJoint...that place is a 1/2 block down Magnolia on the left...but this is a great after-work joint, period. Happy Hour Mecca! If you want some fun and good grub in an upbeat atmosphere, hit this!
The drinks are strong and the food is filling. I love hanging out at the Yucatan. It's lighter food so you don't feel heavy afterwards. The most memorable item is the plantain chips, which come with a great dipping sauce.
To compare this to Fuzzys is sad. Yes it is the same original chef, but this is so much better. A fresh take on the most overdone cuisne in Texas - Mexican make sure you eat here
Lamb tacos, go!. Yucatan is what I wish Fuzzy's still was. Maybe not in the sense of the upscale decor or a few of the avant garde dishes, but just a simple taco. They know how to do it quite well. The fish taco is how a fish taco should be, nice flaky pieces of white fish. That it is tempura fried is a little different, but still good. The star of the show for me however is the roasted lamb taco. It's fantastic, loaded with tender pieces of lamb and some nice garnishes. I've also tried the tenderloin tamale, the spicy fish cakes, and their version of clam chowder. All are very tasty and worthy of praise. My friend raved about the torta which she has yet to find an equivalent to anywhere in town.
In short, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Try it out.
It's setup like a PeiWei restaurant; the food is surprisingly excellent! Great place for lunch!
Awesome setting. I have been to yucatan twice now, and every time I go, I like it more. The burrito bowls are AWESOME... and the nachos are fantastic. This place puts a fresh twist on mexican food, the setting is easy lighting with a coffee shop feel and the food comes served in very stylish dishes which make for a great date night.
Overall, I like it, but.... It is very confusing when you first walk in, and the people at the front are of NO help and just stared at us blankly... They were pretty rude. the food though, was GREAT. I have no complaints about the food. Drinks are good too!

I enjoyed it, I had the steak and it was gigantic, the nachos were huge, the drinks were fantastic. Atmosphere was cool.
Great food. Love it, been twice and both times, good food but it took forever to get something, either wine or food.. First time it took 20 minutes to get my wine, then the second time it took over 20 minutes for someone at our table to get his food, they forgot!

Love the tacostand! Just don't go on nights they are playing live music but you wish to carry a conversation with your friends. You won't be able to hear them.

Very Good. The food was very good. I would recommend the Peruvian Lamb Stew or the Brazilian Braised Short Ribs. Both were terrific. Did not really enjoy the way you had to go to the reguster to order. With the big crowed you had to order your desert at the same time as dinner or like we did just not get any. Unforntuately the desserts looked promising.

Yummy food!!. I ate at Yucatan Taco Stand for the first time yesterday at lunch. The food was stupendous. I'm already a fan of Fuzzy's near TCU, even if at times it is quite loud. I like the more serene environment at Yucatanand more expansive menu. I had the Papas Rellenas appetizer as my meal, along with a fish taco. It was more than enough food. Nice presentation on the papas and delicious. I would like to see more vegetarian options however. And why do the veggie dishes cost more than the meat dishes? That is just the opposite of most restaurants. Nice service, even if you have to order at the counter a la Pei Wei.

Great food! Poor service.. A bunch of my girl friends and I went in last week. We ordered our food which was delicious by the way! When we were done we sat up at the bar and attempted to order margaritas the bartender (Michelle) seemed very frustrated or "maybe just very tired" as soon as we got our margaritas she told us it was $16.50 (5.50 each) I asked her to open a tab for us so at the end of our visit I asked her to close our tab. We ended up having 5 margaritas total but she charged us for six. When I let her know she rolled her eyes and acted as if I had done something wrong. I just think for such a new place the bartender should be more welcoming and inviting. We would have come back this week had we felt more welcomed and felt like we weren't an annoyance. Now don't get me wrong the food is great! Top notch! When you walk in you're welcomed with a bright smile and a friendly hello. Maybe just order everything from the front where you order your food or grab one of the girls in black walking around.
I got the vegetarian tacos and they were amazing! I was so excited because, being a vegetarian, I usually don't get tacos out anymore (except fish tacos on occasion.) Dave had the Mahi-mahi and it was really good too...
This restaurant has great food and I love the atmosphere! Very good drinks as well. The appetizer nachos are delicious and so was the shrimp burrito! Nachos were my favorite item. I can’t wait to eat them again. The parking is behind the building. Very nice place to eat!
Had the fish tacos and fish burrito. They were both delicious. The medium salsa really added a lot of flavor!

OMG. Awesomeness on a plate. 3 tacos for $10 special. I came with 6 others and our meals were all delivered exactly as ordered and were delicious. A must do if in the Ft. Worth area! And the nachos are humongous.
We ordered the Chicken Lime Nachos and the Garlic Beef Nachos, and they were both great and what huge portions! Either one would be enough for 2 people. We will definitely put this place on our schedule for the next time we are in Fort Worth.

I've lived here 3 weeks and I've already been there twice. Once during the day, once at night. Both excellent experiences. Both times we sat on the patio. The only downside is with the Texas wind. You have to nail the napkins to the table.
Our young female server, Mariah (?) was super friendly and VERY attentive. I was in a bit of an emotional state because I had just moved away from my friends and family, so as my boyfriend and I were talking, Mariah never rushed us. She even had to return back to us several times just so we could make a decision on drinks. I'm not much of a slushy drink person but my boyfriend had gotten one and I felt like slogging the whole thing down. And it was so pretty too!
When we decided that we wanted to do the quesadilla with shredded beef instead of the meat options they offered, she was happy to oblige. Great salsa with some spice to it too.
So we ate, drank, held the napkins down and really had an enjoyable experience.
2 weeks later..we went for a walk one night and last minute decided to stop in just to get something quick. The young gentleman that helped us went above and beyond when it came to catering to our special needs. (We wanted to share a taco salad). We were both just going to jam our forks in there and eat like slobs but he was kind enough to bring us little bowls and even two separate dressings and plenty of napkins knowing we were going to make a mess.
Even though they were getting close to closing time, he didn't rush us. The lighting on the patio at night is beautiful. I took a picture of my boyfriend's delicious drink. "Do you want to share the other woman with me?" he says. The other woman is the name of the drink. 😂
Since we live right down the street now, we'll probably become regulars.

We visited twice, largely because they allowed dogs on their patio and had a menu we liked. Some of the tables are shaded by trees in the early evening of late spring, nice given there was a heat wave when we visited.
Food was acceptable, the option for a burrito bowl was welcome and an added reason we returned. Margaritas were pretty good, not terribly strong for either visit, drinking two had very little effect, and had good flavor.
Service was uninspired. Our first visit, the staff didn't pay attention to us and seemed put out when we waved them down to place orders after waiting 20 minutes. They tried to give us our bill before delivering dinner, and were again put out when we asked for a second round of drinks. We were not in a rush, fortunate as we stayed 1h40m with a large portion just waiting.
Second visit, service was just not attentive. They never checked on us, didn't come to get orders or refill drinks, and we never saw them to wave them down We had to wave down people cleaning tables to get our server to stop by.
Outdoor seating, dogs allowed, drinks that aren't too stiff, and a reasonable menu - if you're patient about service.
This was my very first experience with Yucatan, and I must say great location, nice atmosphere, staff was very friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I would definitely go back, my only reason for not giving it 5 stars was due to the cups, silverware, and my table being dirty. Cleanliness is a must!
Went in last night to drink with my friends after work we had the pleasure of meeting Yesenia who we ordered 4 green tea shots from. She made sure they were extra strong which we greatly appreciated. As we were getting ready to leave and pay she told us the shots were on the house! Best bartender ever!
The 3some was really delicious and but I didn't really feel any difference after drinking it. one more might have gotten me on a lil lit. but the over taste was good. I also had the Carne asada taco which was really good as well although it could have had more meat in it. Bartender was very attentive and friendly. over all experience was superb
I have always enjoyed coming to thus place. Drinks are always the best, Staff and food are great too. Portions of the burrito bowls seem smaller than they use to but still good
My personal favorites: Shrimp bowl and Screwdriver. These two are always delicious, I've tried other dishes here but always go back to these two. I think their drinks and food are delicious here. I do have to add the only thing keeping me from giving them the 5th start is the appearance. This restaurant has so much potential but is not kept up with well. The restroom is always dirty and falling apart, with the kind of clientele they have, it would be good to invest in a bigger bathroom. The patio equipment is also falling apart. We witnessed several guest that had to leave a patio table because the umbrella kept falling on them. A personal favorite in the summer is a nice patio dinner and like i said, Yucatan has a lot of potential in this area but needs some improvements. I'm a regular and I do recommend this place. Is just that i been coming here for a few yrs now and they haven't remodeled or improved their patio etc.
Really enjoy this place, especially since they stay open late in case you are on Magnolia late. The staff are friendly. There was one time that the A/C was out and a couple tunes their frozen drink machine was out. It seems that the staff are frustrated with the management, so I hope the manager becomes more appreciative of the staff.
