Loved the food as always. The waiter must of had an off day as he forgot my moms to go box and her request for more napkins and water. I understand that they were extremely busy with Coca Cola taking over almost every table, but little things are important too.

ThIs place is bomb I've been coming here since I moved to Texas 14 years ago, and still a loyal customer, the staff is top notch and very nice. Their chips are the best in town and cheap I can eat chips and salsa all day.

Hidden gem! Best chicken enchiladas I’ve ever had. My husband loves their tortilla soup. Been coming for a few months and tried different things. Everything has been so good. And of course the chips and salsa are addicting. Always have good service but we go early on Sundays so it’s not crowded. Sad it took us this long to discover it.

As stated in my "Howdy" comeback note, it's somewhat surprising to me how many new "regular" restaurants we've discovered in the last half of 2017. This was not by design either. With that, let me introduce you to Cardona Cafe. We went here on the strength of their chips. It started with a visit to one of the RJG's favorites this past summer: Tolbert's. The chips were unusually delicious one unsuspecting afternoon. So we asked our waiter where did they come from. Sure enough, Cardona Cafe. They go by the brand name Gloria's, and you can by them in large bags, but they are not to be confused with the Salvadoran restaurant of the same name (somewhere in these pages). So off we went one Sunday morning toward Meacham Field in Fort Worth. In short order, Cardona has become our go-to Sunday breakfast place, when the spirit moves us to have breakfast on a Sunday that is.

Excellent gem off the beaten path. In Ft Worth on business and someone told me about this little gem. While it appears to be off the beaten path (surrounded by industrial type warehouses/factories), the food is worth it! Excellent prices with complementary salsa (awesome) and corn/flour tortillas. All 5 of us got different menu items and they were all excellent. The FAA combo is well worth the $7.25 lunch price! Highly recommended!

I have to admit, I was completely surprised at how great everything was. Friendly and accommodating hostess. Quick and attentive server. And wonderfully prepared Tex-Mex cuisine. Glad my mom and I ventured out this afternoon and checked this cozy little place out. Highly recommended!

The atmosphere and service were great, and the food was yummy and filling! My mother gave the Tortilla Soup- "this is the best tortilla soup I have ever had." She eats it almost everywhere we go that offers it so that is saying something.

Been wanting to try this place, and finally did today. They're only open for breakfast and lunch which is a shame. The chips were delicious as well as the salsa. Anytime I see Carne Guisada on a menu for a new place I visit, it's always a must. Glad I did. Beef was tender, and the gravy was very flavorful. My wife's sour cream chicken enchiladas were excellent. We also loved the beans and rice. The service was also excellent. Can't wait to come back and try more!

Been a few years but I'm back here and the place hasn't changed much. The food is good, nothin fancy, portions filling. The server was nice, prompt and quick. Really just an easy place to grab a sitdown lunch...

The staff is outstanding. Not only are they welcoming, but they also remember who you are and acknowledge you. The food is great, but we all know we base our mexcian restaurant on chips and salsa. Well, theirs is on point. Wish they were open on the weekends or even Friday evenings.

I read reviews before going. Had the chicken Enchiladas with sour cream sauce. It did not disappoint. We arrived during lunch time, they were busy yet no problem with seating.

Wonderful! Had the Chicken Enchilada/Beef Tostada Lunch Menu Option-- the chicken enchliada-tender, savory chicken, topped with a delicious, sour cream sauce with plenty of cheddar cheese😍 the beef tostada-crunchy, tasty tostada shell, flavorful beef--one of the best tasting tostada's! The rice and beans are tasty too 😊

First, let me start by saying this place is a little hard to see. They have a roll up old style marquee sign without any logo or anything. Once you find it, however, the magic begins. They immediately brought out chips and salsa. The salsa is on the medium side, with a good amount of spice. They bring an extra vat of it over to the table right away. I ordered the enchilada trio for lunch and it was excellent. Great tasting and piping hot! Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone wanting an authentic tasting Mexican food plate.

That chicken enchilada was amazing. The beans so creamy & rice perfectly seasoned. The taco was ground beef in a tortilla with the lettuce, cheese, and tomato on top. The chips and salsa were wonderful as well. Only open for lunch and worth the drive.

The restaurant was packed, many items on the menu were sold out. Lots of people picking up tamales for Christmas. Food was very good. Will return after holidays. Would like their hours to be extended. Only open for lunch.
