So glad to see Burgundy Beef now has a local shop here in Fort Worth.  We had been driving to their original store in Grandview for a number of years for their wonderful grass-fed beef burgers and meat selection.  Now it's right here in town!  Those who are not used to grass-fed beef should be warned, these are not your usual fast-food burgers.  These are 100% fresh, real beef with no corn filler, BGH, pink slime, or other nasty substances you get with your local fast-food chain burgers.  For this reason the taste is very different than most folks are used to (I suspect this is why one reviewer didn't like them).  And if you want real free-range chicken, eggs, lamb (in season), pork, beef tongue, oxtail, or even bones for the family dog then look no further.  But do bring a large cooler to haul your prize home in.

Git 'Em While They're Hot. Here's a great burger place, and a great little meat market at the same time. On 7th Street just west of University in a small strip mall, next to Le Cep you'll find Burgundy's Local. Open daily for purchasing meat, it only serves up burgers and franks on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I heard about tremendous lines, but there were none when I pulled in just after noon on a Sunday. The menu is small and is on a chalkboard on a wall. Hamburger, cheeseburger, frankfurter, homestyle chips. . . You could have grilled onions, jalapenos, chili or an extra patty for a smidgen extra. Bottled sodas or water are the only drinks.

My cheeseburger, as the line goes was indescribably delicious. Their grass-fed beef was tender and luscious, cooked on a flattop grill at the back of the shop. You cat either sit at the counter on barstools and watch the proceedings, or do what I did,. . .shop. The rest of the store which wasn't filled with patio-type tables and chairs of the cast iron variety, was complete with wall-to-wall freezers and chillers packed with take home cuts of pasture raised, dry aged beef, hormone-free chicken.--all at a very good price. They even have aged cheese, honey, and even tomatoes.

My burger was ready at about the time I finished perusing their wares. They called my name and brought the beautiful burger and chips to me. As I said earlier, this was a tremendously good burger. I forgot to tell them how I wanted it, but it came out a marvelous medium--just perfect. And perfect timing too, because a lot more people started to show up.

The chips were very good. I'm not a big chip fan, but these were not greasy at all. I have to recommend their ginger beer as well, Reed's. It had a pronounced ginger flavor, much more than the ginger ales I've had in the past.

So pleased to finally get to Burgundy's Local. It is as good as everybody says it is!

Nice, small local Butcher's store. All meat cuts are already cut and airtight packaged for easy grab and go. It's not frozen, which makes it ready to cook. The staff is friendly. The store and the refrigerators are clean, well organized, and all meat has labels with prices on them. This store offers a variety of spices, oils, and balsamic vinegar. We got New York Strip Beef Steak, and Fig balsamic vinegar! Both turned out to be very delicious! I wanted to get some quail eggs, but they didn't have any at that time! We will come here again!

We visited some time ago and we were really impressed! Great meats and even bought a bag of bones for the dog. Lately I have been wondering about how to tell if my meat has MRNA in it? It's in the news. I tried the contact link on the website bit it doesn't work. Maybe I can get an answer here?

I visited Burgundy's for the first time today and was immediately greeted. I was on the hunt for the perfect beef short ribs and found exactly what I was looking for. Before I left I decided to look for a good Steak and let me tell you, I found one. This is by far the best steak I have ever had. The kind of Steak that truly doesn't need any sauce. The gentleman at the register informed me of their loyalty program, everything is all natural, grass fed and local. Do yourself a favor and go check out Burgundy's Local! You will not be disappointed.

Read the Burgundys Local story on their website! You can taste the difference in grass fed beef. The people that work here are always helpful and friendly. I also get Elderberry Syrup when I shop here.

Do not come here if you’re looking for cheap/ reasonably priced meat. TINY chicken breasts were $12 / lb!! Their beef looked good and I’m assuming/ hoping the quality is amazing. It would certainly have to be AMAZING to pay $12 per breast for a the smallest chickens I’ve even seen.

You can actually taste the difference between pasture raised/grass fed & finished meat. I love that the chicken breast & thighs aren’t massive either! At some grocery stores, the breasts are a pound each and makes me wonder how much hormones are being injected. But not here! Just normal chicken sized. I’m weird about meat & it often makes me sick but I shop here weekly!! Their seasoning packets are also amazing. I stopped making my own taco seasoning because theirs is so much better!!!!

I have been a customer of Burgundy's fine products for about 10 years. The quality is fantastic and the people who produce them are even better. I do wish that everything was priced per pound, as it was in years past. Now I feel confused about what I am paying for and have cut back on buying as a result. I would rather purchase local, but more and more markets are offering local grassfed products priced by the pound and cut to order.
