Thus was truly a five-star experience. Ciera, our server was stellar as she took great care of us, accommodated us, explained the menu and checked up on us frequently for refills and to let us know how much she appreciated our visit.
I was truly impressed!
Shell Shack has a great atmosphere and the staff are very welcoming and make the dining expierence very fun and care free. I highly recommend the “kitchen sink” flavoring if you’re getting the crab!

The boils are excellent. I just wish the heat level was spicer and that they offered veggies with their boils. Waitress was super friendly and attentive.
Had the catfish. It was prepared perfectly but I was moved to offer a review because of the hush puppies. I cook these for a large group of Christian brothers every year and I know what a good hush puppy crunches like. These are perfect! The fish is great. Nice to find a place that makes fish golden brown and hush puppies a bit darker
I swung by this weekend to see what the buzz was all about and I had a great experience. No bad smell like some seafood dining rooms have (red lobster *cough*) and the service was great. Nelson is a fast bartender and attentive. I will definitely be back to see him and the wonderful atmosphere that comes with such a great dining experience. Thank you Nelson!
I recently visited Shell Shack and was blown away by the quality of the seafood and customer service. The fried oysters was cooked to perfection and the dipping sauce was the perfect complement. Me and my mother came in Saturday and was greeted by a server I believe named Tyjah. We had an incredible dining experience at Shell Shack, and I must say, the server was outstanding! From the moment we walked in, they greeted us with a warm and genuine smile, instantly making us feel welcome.
Throughout the entire meal, our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly. They went above and beyond to ensure that our needs were met and that we had an enjoyable time. Not only did they take the time to explain the menu in detail, but they also made excellent recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes.
Their efficiency and attention to detail were impressive. They made sure our drinks were always filled, and they checked on us regularly to ensure we were satisfied with everything.
What really stood out was their passion for their job and the restaurant. They seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the menu offerings, and their enthusiasm was contagious. It made the whole dining experience even more enjoyable.

I had the catfish plate. It came with two catfish fillets, a lot of french fries and two hush puppies. The batter on the fish was light and thin so it did not overtake the flavor of the fish. The catfish has a good taste. The French fries are hand cut and lightly salted. The inside atmosphere is more like a sports bar vs fish shack decor I was expecting. Prices are market prices. Staff was great!
We ordered the Alligator Tenders, pictured below. Those were great. My wife ordered the Grilled Shrimp and I ordered the Nashville Hot Fried Shrimp. The Alligator Tenders tasted great. Good crisp and we both enjoyed the dipping sauces the server brought out. The shrimp plates were good but the shrimp were not deveined. The Nashville Shrimp were hot, but it was almost like a bottle of Red's hot sauce was used. The fries were cold when the order made it's way to the table. I could tell the staff were shorthanded, so I would be willing to try this again. Today's experience could have been better.
Came in with friends and had an amazing times. Our waitress was also the bartender and taking care of a few really big tables but she was incredible. Very on top of things and never had to wait long for anything Absolutely love this place
It was our first time visiting and it turned out to be some of the best crab I've eaten. Easy to crack, easy to pull out, and so tasty. I was very impressed. The service was outstanding and very attentive. We will be back very soon!
The food was wonderful, the service was good also. The atmosphere was open, bland, but not clustered at the time of day we went in. The G.M. was amazing at making sure we were served to our expectations. We will most definitely be going back soon.
Tyjah was my server a couple days ago and she was the best! She was very attentive, never let my drink go below halfway, and had good energy. She made the experience a 10/10. Food was amazing as well I love getting to come here!!
I absolutely loved the food. I’m not a big seafood person but this has been the best seafood I’ve had in all of Texas. The service was amazing thanks to our guy Nelson. He helped me out so much and he brought out the food and drinks extremely fast. I would definitely come back and would like to be served only by Nelson
