This is my go to restaurant for sushi, it is wonderful. I love the teppanyaki grill as well. They always have great customer service and a wonderful atmosphere. My family has never been disappointed with the food. We have been coming to the restaurant for at least 10 years. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!
My husband and I were celebrating our 38th Anniversary with family and friends at Sakura's.
Service was very good. The wait staff were very attentive to our needs, without being obtrusive. Chef was talented, entertaining and there are no complaints. We all felt we chose the best restaurant to celebrate our special occasion. We recommend it highly and we will return.

I dont eat seafood and they made sure to cook my chicken and steak first, BEFORE any seafood! Chicken was delicious and we loved the chef!! So much food. Really good!!

Sakura Japanese Steak House in Fredericksburg VA. Best time ever! The place is beautiful. They cook the food right in front of you, great energy, funny, and entertaining, plus really delicious food! They even gave my wife a free piece of cheesecake for her birthday. Can't say enough good things about this place.
As always, Sakura lives up to it's reputation. We live 3 blocks from here and probably visit 4-5 times a year, for the past 10 years. Always great food, service, sushi and fun! We keep coming back for a reason. Sakura rocks!!

I just went for my first time with friends and family for my b-day. Everything was great. We were lucky apparently to have gone on a bit of a slower night. The hostess and servers were friendly. Our chef was great and very entertaining. Everything was delicious. I had the Filet Mignon and Scallops with fried rice paired with a bottle of Kirin Ichiban. I tried a bit of everything with both the yum-yum sauce and the ginger. I have only one complaint. not all the beers and drinks are listed anywhere haha. I can't wait to go again.
One of the best Japanese steakhouses we have ever eaten at. When we visit my sister for thanksgiving, the girlfriend and I always make it a point to eat here before we go back home

This was by far, the BEST MEAL we have had at Sakura's and we eat there a lot!! The Mexican Chef we had, seasoned the food to new levels, we had never reached before!! He was also very funny and inner acted with everyone at our table and had all of laughing and having a Great Time!! From now on, we will always ask to sit at his table!!

We went to dinner at Sakura with good friends to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. We had a wonderful time, had a very dedicated waitress, a hard working chef, were treated to a piece of cheesecake, as well as a song and a picture of the memory. It has been a long time being here, but we will be back on a regular basis.
My wife and I went there today for her birthday lunch. It was awesome! The staff was very friendly and nice. Our chef Juan did an amazing job! An he's a great guy. They sang happy birthday to my wife. It was awesome! We will be definitely be going again soon. Lots of fun.

Had a wonderful time. The Chef - Entertainer provided the table to an excellent show and meal. Not too expensive. Well worth the money. We had left overs for 2 days.
Great atmosphere friendly staff. The food was outstanding and cooked to perfection. I have never seen food cooked like that before and I highly recommend this place.
Absolutely delicious! The chef was extremely entertaining and engaging. The portions are large and I don't care who you are you will have leftovers, the food is rich and very tasty. We all had the Filet Mignon, Shrimp and Chicken with fried rice. Appetizers (which are included with the meal as well as soup AND salad ) were delicious, we had the chicken livers, my mom had the shrimp and my sister had the mushrooms.... All were fabulous! The sauces that accompany your meal are out of this world! Well worth the price, $34.99 and that includes everything!
Pretty good sushi joint. They also have a portion of the restuarant dedicated to hibachi aswell. We just sat at the tables wanting sushi today. Not too bad, but a bit pricey. The sushi was SO GOOD THOUGH. Mmmmmmm rice
Had Dinner at the Sushi Bar, everything was fresh and delicious. The Sushi Chef was very friendly and informative while he prepared our meal in front of us. Overall a great dining experience. We will return. *Wanted to update, my wife and I visited this afte a few years - same sushi chef is still there. He makes the best sushi in town. We will definitely come back sooner.

I would give it 100 stars if I could. I'm a regular to go customer. I've tried ALL the sushi spots in the immediate vicinity and this place is HANDS DOWN THE BEST sushi I've had. The tempura dishes are soooooo good; not oily or drenched in sauce. It's perfect! I moved here from DC where there are soooo many places to choose from. I've tried many in the Fredericksburg/spotsy area and I always end up here! My kids love it! We always order about $100 worth of sushi and we are NEVER disappointed!
Now onto the hibachi. Not your typical cooks. They're very engaging and when it's y9ur birthday, they switch it up (both times I celebrated a bday, the songs were different!). If you're impatient, don't come here. If you have patience, talk to your neighbors. It makes the time go faster. Our servers have checked on us regularly and our drink cups were barely empty. I love this place and the older lady at the front desk. She's very attentive and courteous! She is a treasure... BUBBLE WRAP HER!!! The servers are great, waiters/waitresses are great, the sushi guys are magnificent, and the kitchen staff are amazing!
