First time come with friends during weekday. Special offwr BOGO50% select sushi. And it was good. Good vibe and atmosphere. Service it is a little bit slow but I guarantee the food was worth . I also got bento box , the mix tempura was my favorite, perfectly crunchy. Pork cutlet was delicious, however chicken teriyaki was little bit dry and not too much teriyaki sauce. Overall was great experience
I been regular at Chomp Sushi for over a year now. The place has a nice and friendly vibe, and their sushi is consistently high-quality, definitely worth the price and I always leave a generous tip, although it’s worth mentioning that we have been turned away from the inside patio a few times. It’s not a big deal, though. In general, it’s a cool spot, and I especially like going on weekdays when they have a buy 1, get the second one at 50% off deal.
Try all the rolls. All of them! All 3 no rice options are delicious. Ambience is amazing.
Update 8/6/23: still my favorite sushi spot in Downtown Fullerton. Love the fact that I rolled in with a party of 3 30 minutes before closing and they served me with a smile. Love it 🙌🏽
We were a "big" group, whatever it means for American standard so 20perc were added to the bill, even though two members waited forever for their meals to be served while the rest of us finished our diner already. We were told the restaurant was full while it wasn't even half full, and why could the chef prepare food for 5 already and leave out 2?
Anyhow, the food was freshly prepared and tasted nice. Not the typical Japanese clean style but Americanised with lots or sauces coming with the rolls that filled us up quickly.
Nice diner, even though there are a few mishaps.
The bill would be reasonable, but with the extra 20perc charge of a big group when the kitchen screwed up, didn't feel fair!
Let’s start off with just admitting that prices are higher now. However, the quality has not suffered. You cannot dispute the freshness of their rolls (signature and hand). Try venturing outside your normal flavor and you will find unique creations on the menu; I highly recommend the Lemon Salmon Roll:)
Service is polite and engaging. The inside is a nice sit no matter what table you get. The days of the old shark in the middle are gone, but the atmosphere is surprisingly more tranquil and calming, thus making your experience that much better.
Amazing atmosphere and the food was fantastic! The service started off great with Hannah. She was checking on us regularly and was very quick with the drink orders. Then, about halfway through our meal, she disappeared. We finished eating and still no sign. Once our drinks were done, we continued to wait and literally no one was in our area. After waiting 30 minutes, we finally decided to just get up and pay at the host stand. The other couple in the booth next to us followed our lead.
I will go back again because of the food and atmosphere but if it happens again, I probably won't return. It's very pricey to just be forgotten about.
This restaurant is one of my favorite sushi spots in Orange County! The food is excellent, the service is great. My favorite dish is the Honeymoon Roll! Can't get enough of that one.
Chomp, where everything has changed, has good taste and atmosphere. The sushi, sashimi, and new hot stone menus are truly the best.
Our 6 year old son was craving sushi. First time at Chomp Rockin' Sushi, and it was a hit! We went on the weekend for lunch, and we were seated within 5 minutes. The sushi was tasty! We also ordered a Bento box, shrimp shumai, garlic edamame, and Udon. Portions were large enough for us to take food home. Can't wait to go back to try more sushi!
This place was 10/10. All fresh ingredients, great service, awesome low-key atmosphere and surprisingly not super busy. I can't even find a restaurant in TX with an Unagi hot stone bowl, def a stop I gotta come back for in Cali.
By far one of the best experiences my wife and I have had the pleasure of trying! Food is amazing in taste, quality, visually appealing, and absolutely unique. 10 out of 10 Gordan Ramsey would recommend.
This was our first time there.. I am sorry that I didn't catch any names, but our waiter, and Teppan Chef were attentive and great at what they did! The food quality exceeded our expectations. Can't wait to come back!

Sushi rolls were huge when we went. Didn't get to eat anything else since we weren't too hungry at the time.
Their menu is massive and there's tons of options. I saw they had a reasonably priced omakase under 100. Might have to come back to try this!

Very delicious lemon salmon rolls!!!! The shrimp tempura rolls were also scrumptious! The avocado rolls were fresh and exquisite. The prices are fair, the food presentation was outstanding, and the atmosphere was very relaxing.
