This location has a river ride, a mini build-a-bear, huge bar, and fish in the water arch and aquarium! Really cool location, the ride is so much fun (no, really, two grown adults had a great time) and the food was great. This place doesn't short your drinks, so get that margarita!
Food was great. Kids meals were served great portions and options. Fish tacos built great, tortilla tasted fresh handmade, the fish was cooked really well. Steak fajitas very good. Korean Spicy stir fry sooo good but definitely spicy. Soooo good. Service couple small issues no big deal. Crowded but seated within 5 minutes of our reservation time.
It was quite the experience, I would definitely take the whole family here, even the little ones! They had cute dessert and fancy drinks options. They let you keep the cups for some of those drinks, just ask!
I loved the swinging monkeys and the thunderstorms. We had decent food and service; it could've been a lot better as for options and quality, but I think this place is more about the experience than food expectations.
First time eating at the Forest... The food was great same with our waiter. At first when we got there we had to get a waiter attention just to get our drink order in. But when we did he did a fantastic job. He even wanted to see the cook on my steak. Which I've never had a waiter asked me to cut my steak to see the cook on it (Which was perfect).
Super fun restaurant! The food was pretty good, and the kids had a blast! I STRONGLY encourage reservations, but if you don’t have one they had a magic show and DJ out front to help pass the wait time.
We showed up irresponsibly late to this Rainforest Cafe and were still treated so kindly here. The food was great, and came out fast and fresh. The ambience wasn't as depressing as mall Rainforest Cafes.
Great place for kids and birthdays, although it is expensive. The portions are enormous.
Such a fun place for families! The food is great and the atmosphere is so fun! The aquariums are really well done and scattered throughout the restaurant. I had the Coconut Shrimp basket, which was good as always. The kids has pasta with marinara and fresh fruit (the fruit was huge chunks of fresh watermelon) and both were a big hit! My hubby had the Lava nachos appetizer as a meal and it was HUGE. The waiter was super nice and good with kids. The only weird/bad thing was, they had face-painters and balloon artists wandering around the dining room working for tips… that was unneeded and kind of disruptive. The ride is cute and VERY well maintained (but a little pricy - skip it if you don’t have kids that are elementary age or younger). Overall it’s a great experience and we will be back!
Not my favorite Rainforest Cafe that I've been too. The multiple hosts didn't act like they wanted to work there. The meal was forgotten about. We were being offered dessert while eating our Appetizer. Dinner was left waiting.
The Rainforest in Orlando and in Michigan was a well oiled machine compared to here.
Great family atmosphere also great food . Service, they were always checking on us to make sure if we needed anything else. I would recommend this place to go
Came here on vacation and was not disappointed! I recommend that you make a reservation because the wait times can get pretty long. We made a reservation and were seated not long after our scheduled time. Food was delicious, hot, and decent price. The smoothie was delicious and so refreshing after a hot day. Service was quick and our server was nice! Love this location because of the water ride, and the gift shop is a good size with plenty to look at. If you want a fun and different experience, this is the place to come to! My friend and I had a great time and will come back again the next time we are in Galveston.
It had been a long time since I’d been to the Rainforest Café, but it was as stunning now as it was amazing then. Their animatronic jungle animals, mini rivers and waterfalls, and audio/visual rainforest effects create a super fun themed environment. Their burger and fries were really good as well.
5 star atmosphere and overall neat experience with the added q30min storms, food is just okay. Staff was friendly and had frog character walking around waving for kids. Definitely have to go on the ride!
Waitress was visibly annoyed and impatient and was clearly being fake, acting like she was patient and kind. Surely, they are used to tourists who have questions and need more time. The food reminds me of chilis, but with a high dollar price tag and was mediocre at best. You're literally paying for the experience. As for the experience, we loved it and the adventure ride is a must-see. We loved it.
I visited this restaurant on 4th of July and we went early when they first opened. I walked around the restaurant with my kids and this place is amazing!! Omg, it’s sooo great!! First time at this restaurant and I was blown away. My server was so professional and had out of this world customer service! We ordered the appetizer sampler, a huge cheeseburger, a sirloin steak, shrimp and a pizza. My burger was bigger than my entire head ! All the food was hot and fresh…delicious! We ordered the volcano for desert, it was a very exciting dessert, I truly recommend it! Can’t wait to come back:)
Great food....Great service....Super cute animatronic animals....and best of all, the dark ride!!! Pretty pricey but totally worth my $$! Plus....my favorite Youtuber 'The Carpetbagger' visited here so I had to visit! But overall, it's worth a visit!!!
This was my first time at Rainforest Cafe and it was quite a sight. Many things to see while coming to this restaurant a gift shop, river ride, waterfall, face painting and a balloon guy. I recommend making a reservation beforehand as it is a really busy place. Seems like they have things for the whole family. Santiago was a great safari host and the food & drinks were prepared really well everybody tasted fresh. I ordered the Panama Punch and the Bombay Chicken & Shrimp.
This was a wonderful experience! We took 15 year olds and a 8 year old. The ride and food was impressive to everyone. Our waitress was fantastic! This was reasonable and we were there for hours looking around and enjoying our night!
Unique experience. The animals and decorations are pretty over the top. The walking frog is pretty creepy.
Minimal wait time on both the restaurant and the ride attached. I went for a birthday and it was a good time.
