I had the pleasure of visiting this location. It was a sunny day and folks were out and about so the place was jumping. We came to get a quick bite to eat. The food was great. I mostly enjoyed the rainbow 🌈 cookies. As for the coffee it was ok but was a little expensive for my taste.
I will say the atmosphere was very relaxed. Read a book, converse or just gaze out the window.
I was very impressed with For Five. The atmosphere was clean and classy, the food was delicious and filling, and the coffee was incredible!
Keep in mind, you don't get waited on while you're here; you pick wherever you want to sit and you order at the register. They give you a table number and then your order is brought out to you. The line can get long to order and it can be annoying waiting in line instead of waiting at your table to order.
I've had a lot of the food items on the menu, I have yet to be disappointed with any of them. There are plenty of options ranging from steak and salads to pancakes and oatmeal.
They pride themselves on their coffee that they roast daily, and I have to say that it's definitely one of the better East Coast roasts that I've had. Hot or iced it's all delicious. Highly recommend trying some of their flavored lattes.
We stopped in while visiting from out of state. We had never been to any of the "For Five" locations. The place is really large. Located on 7th in Garden City it has both indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered Gotham Mocha lattes and breakfast. The food was excellent! Very fresh and appealing. The lattes were very good. The place is pricey. It was about $67 for coffee and two breakfast entrees so know that before you go. We enjoyed it though.
Wonderful spot for studying, getting work done, or hanging out with friends!! The food may seem pricey but it is very high quality with a large portion size. I was only able to eat half of my toast with sirachi cream cheese, egg, and lox! Coffee was also excellent.
great place to study or just meet up with friends. can get busy though. on the pricey side but the dishes are very big. i recommend The Louie coffee :)
Had breakfast at this place in Garden City.
➕great space and vibes
➕lots of indoor and outdoor seating
➕free and ample parking in the back
➕great selection of pastries and coffee drinks
🔻the food wasn't tasty for me - canned peaches on the French toast?
🔻 no descriptions for the coffee drinks printed anywhere - had to decide on the spot while ordering after asking the cashier
🔻 no latte art

Beautiful space. Had the steak and eggs, amazing. Iced latte with half n half. Great complex flavor. On the pricey side but it’s worth it for the ambiance and quality.
I really wanted to drink coffee here.
Just looking inside the store, I thought the coffee would taste good.
It was as good as I thought.
I should try brunch next time.
Been here a few times. Their coffee is good and nice ambience. Their food is definitely worth a try though. A little pricey but I have loved everything off the menu I’ve tried so far. Nice place to stop in for lunch or to get some work done with a drink.

Well rounded coffee house; but - I would've liked a larger list of fun coffee to choose from. The caramel apple cookie was delightful and the back outdoor area was breezy and pleasant. Coffee wasn't bad, we had the two specialty flavors - not what I wanted; however good nonetheless. Will definitely return.
Wow I didn't expect such amazing food at a coffee shop but this place is a gem 💎. The Mediterranean bowl was so filling and the falafels were freshly made. My friend got the peach French toast which was also delicious.
It was pretty busy but the cafe is big so we found seating. There is also parking in the back. Will definitely be back!
It was a nice experience ordering our food and the waiter brought it to our table. The French toast was great, tasty!
Excellent cafe. Ample seating and very comfortable. Nice am and vibe. I had the iced mocha with the chocolate chip muffin and both were fresh and delicious. Service is outstanding and store is spotless clean. Highly recommended!
From someone who lives out of state and only gets to come back and visit for holidays, For Five has easily become my must-stop spot when I’m home. Their menu is absolutely delicious with so many unique and delicious options to choose from. This is the perfect spot to grab a quick lunch and coffee with friends or study for a massive exam. The ambiance is such a laid back vibe and the staff is so kind and helpful. If I went to school in the area, I definitely would be using this as a study spot because it’s also relatively quiet. All of the food that I tried was fantastic. The Loaded Salmon Sriracha Toast is the most delicious toast that has a sriracha cream cheese piled high on sourdough with salmon, egg, capers, pickled red onions, and smoked salmon. The Peach French Toast was absolutely gorgeous and I must say, tasted just as fresh and delicious as it looked. The Birria Grilled Cheese is a personal favorite that hits every single time. It’s got a little kick so be prepared, but it is packed with great flavors. The Burrata Pesto sandwich was also another crowd pleaser as the combination of pesto and burrata is just too good to pass up. If you get the chance to stop by, definitely do because I go whenever I’m home and it never disappoints!
Great study cafe! It’s spacious with a comforting atmosphere.
The coffee was made quickly, the cafe is kept extremely clean and the staff are nice.
If you are looking for a nice place to get work done or to sit down with others, this is a great spot to do those cafe activities.
I was confused as to why a coffee shop sells steak. I decided to get it for fun. I was pleasantly surprised. It was great, highly recommend. Love the setup and atmosphere of this coffee shop. Rare gem on Long Island.
We have been there a number of times, the sandwiches and coffee are excellent but the last time we were there it was earlier then usual and there weren't any seats available. We noticed most everyone there had laptops and at most a cup of coffee. Some tables for 4 or more people would have 1 person sitting there. This should be addressed. We were 3 people and would have spent at least 80 dollars. We will still go there, hopefully they will address this problem.
