Fantastic food with cocktails to match. The service is very friendly. Really glad to have a place like this in garden City offering products prepared in a way that feels very fresh and natural yet different than what others are doing. Delicious Parker House rolls, a crispy and light fried calamari special, peppers with aioli/egg sauce, pork with apricots and a sweet/savory corn rice pudding were just a few highlights. Drinks are not to be missed - real cocktails prepared with interesting flavor - blue dahlia, TBD and heart beet were standouts.
This is the best thing to happen to Garden City! Excellent food, chill vibe and delicious cocktails! Can't wait to come back here!!

Perennial has a left coast contemporary ambiance and brings the farm to table to Garden City. The menu is simple, and you won't need lots of time to ponder over seamlessly endless choices. My hubby is very much a meat and potatoes man, so he chose the House Cured Bacon appetizer, and I chose the Country Pate. While both were presented and tasty, the arrival of their Parker House Rolls drew us in both visually and by the aroma. The taste was even more significant. So we were looking forward to our dinners. My husband chose the Butcher Steak, and I decided on the Chicken. Our entrees were delicious and artfully presented. The chicken was moist and flavorful. The steak was cooked perfectly. My favorite was the turnip, just out of this world. I think Perennial has outstanding merit in preparing healthy selections but will have to keep that menu fluid to attract repeat business. I definitely will be back for their Chicken, but for my husband, a robust meat eater, he left feeling he wanted more on his plate and the menu. Without question, the Chef is talented. The challenge is, will there be enough variety to keep the customers coming.

Everything here is exquisite. Such a hidden gem! The chef is extremely passionate about his ingredients and his dishes and is an absolute genius. We have been there twice now and we can't wait to become regulars. Oh, and the cocktails are fantastic too! If we could give more than 5 stars, we would!!!
Amazing meal! I was really excited to try this new restaurant but was concerned about finding vegan options. I was very happily surprised to find a vegan entree and multiple appetizers that could be easily customized without sacrificing taste. The entire meal was delicious! My non-vegan companions also loved their meals. I can’t wait to come back and see what the chef comes up with next!
Delicious food with a warm modern industrial atmosphere. Great for couples or small groups. Food is sourced locally from long Island or the city. Food is very filling and seems deceiving small by the photos. You'll leave perfectly stuffed and satisfied. Would recommend the Perennial burger and the creative cocktails on the menu.
Went last night for the first time and was very impressed. My favorite was the snap pea appetizer- it was so fresh and amazing. I also loved the beet cocktail, carrot appetizer, the pastas we sampled as a table were also both delicious and great for a main or shared appetizer, and the monkfish was so delicious and meaty. Others at the table raved about the bacon and the steak. I think they change up the menu quite a bit but I recommend sharing and ordering multiple plates to try all the delicious food. Can’t wait to go back for outdoor tables and weekend brunch!
Great place with a lovely atmosphere and delicious food! The music and lighting set the mood. I love their steak. It was perfectly cooked. The food was all well seasoned and very tasteful. Food is of great quality and very fresh. Would definitely recommend this place for a lovely dinner.
A triple winner: Interesting and good food, warm and friendly great service and pleasant atmosphere. Food is interesting--different--unique combinations of locally sourced, in season ingredients prepared and presented in an interesting and unique way. Our server, Jill, was knowledgeable, friendly, pleasant and warm and, above all, enthusiastic about the restaurant and the dishes. Atmosphere is modern and comfortable but above all not as noisy as other restaurants so one could actually have a pleasant conversation over dinner. A positive, interesting and unique addition to the Garden City food scene.
