This is my favorite spot when I need my comfort food fix. It can be a busy place but well worth the wait. Service is friendly, professional and very attentive. I have never been disappointed!
Absolutely delicious 😍 My husband and I found this spot and thank the heavens we did!! Getting into the restaurant can take a long time, especially when they do specials. And there is no take out for Ramen. BUT! I still go and I stay no matter what!! Beyond great staff! Food is perfect! Go, enjoy a nice bowl of ramen and then shop at target that's our normal schedule when going 😂
I love this place , people are humble , and nice great ramen soup especially with spicy miso and don't forget there famous fried rice its to die for , and even take some home great for lunch �❤️❤️

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. It usually has a wait but way worth it! The customer service is par excellence and such a delight to have a meal there!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
I've been coming here for awhile and it's always been great experience from the staff to the foods, especially the ramen...the only downside is the place is very crowded, typically you have to wait 30 to 45mins, but it's all worthed waiting. Overall was excellent.
Best ramen I've ever had! They had awesome customer service and came every few minutes for water refills and to check up on us! Everything came out perfect and was outstanding! I loved the atmosphere and the seating they had! Not many places have a lot of bench space but their benches were super roomy and very long which is definitely appreciated! Also for 4 people and what we ordered the bill was not expensive at all! Well worth it! ���
It's ramen. You put things in it, then you put it in your mouth, chew and or swallow, 's good. Yay ramen!
Our favorite! My fiancé and I split 3 spicy miso between us for extra flavor and spiciness in our ramen! Amazing. The servers are awesome and really attentive. There's a fun atmosphere too.

First of all, the service here was super friendly and welcoming! Love the way they greet their customers. The servers were also very attentive and quick to bring us our food. We got the eel over rice, hakata ramen (thick base and heavy oil) which was really tasty. Also added an egg and pork belly to the ramen because how could one not?! The misubi did not disappoint either. Overall very solid establishment and would definitely revisit.
Had such a delicious bowl of Hakata Ramen! If you like hot spice, add a side of Diablo (made with Carolina Reaper), it is fire!! They have delicious bite-sized Gyoza, too!

Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity to sieze the best Ramen in LA, in one meal. Would you eat here, or just let it slip?
That was me. I only had one meal remaining in LA before my flight back home. I wanted it to be Ramen. So I began my research for the best Ramen in LA. I checked Google Maps, Yelp, Eater LA, Google results. I wasn't going to accept a _great_ Ramen. I would only settle for a STELLAR Ramen. Our extensive and intensive research landed us here at Shin-Sen-Gumi. I had the highest of expectations, and it did meet them.
The Ramen was delicious, generously flavorful, with bunch of customizable toppings to suit your needs and taste. The pork slices and additional pork dumplings I ordered were both amazing. We also got 2 types of flavor balls/bombs from their menu, and both were a hit. Made the Ramen even tastier.
They also have bells on each table to call the staff. First time I saw it in any restaurant. Makes it very convenient. The service was quick, efficient, no-frills.
You can join the restaurant waitlist from yelp, so do that before you arrive.
First time having ramen the other day👍🏻 have nothing to compare it to. It was amazing. Feeling spontaneous and friends raved about this place so I said why not. I took it 'to go' did not dine-in because it was really busy but I ordered my food and they got it done quickly. So friendly when I received my food. Will try to come dine In and get the full experience of this restaurant. Ramen was great, I also got some spring rolls. And something that looks like pot stickers but they were really good definitely will be coming back to try other items and maybe their sake. 10/10

They have a vegetarian menu! I got the vegetarian Ramen and the Veggie Gyoza. Both were amazing!!! The Veggie Gyoza was the best I’ve ever had.
All we can say is WOW. Traditional Japanese greetings upon entering & leaving. Incredibly attentive staff, well informed on menu & the processes for the items. Eileen was an amazing server. Food hit the spot & really shined, fresh quality ingredients, soup is a wonderful medley where you can truly taste each component without any one item overshadowing.
Perfect birthday breakfast and we'll certainly be back during this trip.
Would recommend this place for some good ramen. It's not out of this world hence the 4 stars but they have good quality service and lot of options. My favorite meat was their pork cutlet. I would recommend signing up on the waitlist for Yelp ahead of time as the wait can get long and sometimes they close the list early before close if it gets too long.
