Small store with open seating but be ready to have best hot dog with bursting flavors!
The service was very friendly and also offered to share one of their own mustard based sauce. Do visit when you are in Gatlinburg!
Great if you are nearby and hungry. I got a pretzel cuz i don't normally like hot dogs but they were good. its not really a big meal place but milkshakes are better than at sonic definitely. so if you come across it make sure to go but i wouldn't go out of my way. the area its at is nice though so theres a plus
This is a great little hole in the wall place. The staff was really friendly and the food was great. You have to get the homemade chips and queso to start or with your meal.
Incredible pulled pork nachos and hot dogs. Will definitely be eating here again soon. The owners are so kind. Overall great experience!
Nice space, good juicy hot dog!
This hole in the wall hot dog shop is quaint, warm, and inviting. While small, there's two tables available for eating your meal, giving the restaurant a cozy comfy feel.
We went in on a cold Fall night, and the windows were all steamed up from the kitchen, giving everything a fun little atmosphere and ambiance.
For under $10 you can get two sodas, two hot dogs, and a bag of chips! Talk about a great cheap meal.
If you're looking for a no frills spot where everyone is friendly and kind, don't miss this place.
I would consider myself a hot dog connoisseur and I must say, the hot dogs here are phenomenal. The immaculate condition of the bun provides a beautiful, almost eye watering presentation of some of the greatest culinary expertise and love ever put into a hot dog I have ever had the pleasure to experience. The hot dog itself was pristine in texture, had a fresh and mouth watering aroma, and was nothing less than perfect in every aspect measurable. The gouda cheese, you could tell it was made with the most dedication, love and care put into thought. It was the binding of the hot dog to the bun and was the completing piece of the already perfect puzzle. Every bite was so powerful and full of flavor that it was almost overwhelming, from how delicious and fresh it tasted. Every bite got worse and worse, not because of the ingredients, or quality of the hot dog, but purely from the fact that each bite I took was one step closer to finishing this heavenly experience. The raw talent and skill required to prepare a meal like this in unfathomable. Hot dogs are usually a simple meal, but the way this restaurant makes them, it is like I am eating like a billionaire, and even then, that does not even begin to describe the flavor that hit my tongue from that first bite.
I long for an experience like this once again but something like this is once in a lifetime worthy. If I could give any more stars than 5 I would.
This experience is truly unquantifiable and my review does not give the food here the justice it deserves.
Gatlinburg is so darling and full of popular places. When I travel I like to look off the beaten path and select something simple and tasty to try. We stumbled upon this square just outside the smoky mountains and got a juicy quarter pound dog with some grilled peppers and onions topped with gouda. It was a perfect little treat off the three hour drive through the park and some of the best frozen strawberry lemonade I’ve had in a while. The staff was friendly, upbeat, polite and kind. Happy to make this recommendation to any friends I have visiting the area. Thanks hot diggity!! We will definitely return!!
What a fun place for a quick llunch! I had the 1/4 pound dog lunch with house made chips, which are excellent. The tip jar has a clever legend - "Money is the root of all evit - purge yourself here!" I will be back to try some of the other dog combinations.
I sure do miss the good ol' days when my buddy Rich owned the store. Now it's still alright... but don't get me wrong son, Rich really had sum'n that just brightened my day. Hot diggity dawg!
This place is great. It's in downtown Gatlinburg, maybe 30ft off the strip, right by Old timey photos and gem mining. All tables are outside, so the atmosphere is great. The fries and chili cheese dog with white liquid cheese was great. They cook to order so it's always hot. Large menu. Price is about normal for Gatlinburg. The owners were great, friendly. Definitely a must try..
Nice local comfort food restaurant. I got the 1/4 dawg meal, this comes with their in-house chips that were excellent I highly recommend them. The dog was good as well. My wife got a corn dog and french fries. She said the corn dog was excellent and the fries were very good as well. Their cheese is like a queso cheese with no spicer kicked to it we really liked it. They take your order right at the door and hand you your food the same way. There's plenty of seating out in the middle of the area in front of the store. This is a must-do place. We recommend it.
Not many places to eat that's fairly affordable and fast in Gatlinburg. Great tasting. Soft, fresh hot dog buns. We only got one each and wanted another one. We didn't eat there but there's always some type of live music in this area.
Great dog joint! Came here after my father-in-law was craving a dog, made his day and they even thanked him for his service. Great place highly recommend!!
The owner is very friendly and food is great. It was a beautiful day and we ate outside at the table. Highly recommend
Quick, delicious food. Friendly service. My only complaint would be that it needs a few more places to sit with a table to enjoy the meal. (We had small kiddos and that was hard to manage them and a chili dog... )
But do check it out!!!!
