Great place among all the madness! We were looking for a quiet place to pop by for a quick lunch and found Whole Earth Cafe. I had the tuna salad with the balsamic vinaigrette and a side of egg salad and my husband had the lentil burger with the potato salad. Everything tasted really good! My salad was fresh and the tuna salad had pickles and celery like I love. The egg salad was way too salty but I ate it anyway. The lentil burger was delusions but the winner was the potato salad. I don’t even typically like potato salad and it was the bomb. Gluten free bread available for sandwiches and vegan/veg options. We sat outside with our dog at the only table, otherwise I would assume it’s a take out place. Cute little grocery store as well with healthy options. We got an orange juice and a seltzer water as well. There’s a sign on the trash to not put anything with food into it so if you do stay, just take it inside bc apparently there’s a bear that pays them a visit each morning and checks the bin! Overall great vibe!
Me and my husband loved this store and were so pleased to find a place that catered to our vegetarian diets. I ordered the lentil burger and pasta salad and he ordered the veggie wrap with hummus on it, and we both ordered iced coffees as well. Everything was so wonderful, refreshing and we still talk about the food and overall experience. It was a quiet, relaxing and clean atmosphere which was so welcoming after walking on the main strip all week and eating just okay food everywhere else. Definitely stop to shop and eat here if you are looking for vegetarian and organic food and (small) grocery selection. It was a fun little store and I so hope to visit again in the future next time we pass through.
great fresh&healthy lunch cafe. very small, simple menu. we had the egg salad&tuna salad. the sandwich bread was better than the wrap. and the tuna salad better than the egg salad. but both very yummy.
Looks a bit chaotic&crazy when you walk in but overall would recommend for lunch.
As far as groceries, don’t expect a whole lot (more of a lunch eatery ) - but good variety of supplements&vitamins. decent variety of random health pantry items. few fridge items. hardly any produce -

A great place to get all those little things you left at home, high quality supplements, organic foods, drinks, and the cafe is REALLY good. The coffee is superb! Be sure to grab a hand made tie die shirt while you are there!
A healthy delicious option for lunch in Gatlinburg. When I'm out running errands for work I will stop here to eat. Today I got my order to go since I was in a hurry. I had the Chicken salad wrap with potato salad. The store has a small dining area and a large selection of healthy supplements as well as general store type items and some clothes. It has a unique atmosphere that I like. The food is always fresh and delicious. Plenty of parking in Winery Square. Pick Whole Earth Grocery for lunch or to stock up on healthy supplements and hard to find items. Highly recommended.
A gem of a store! Gluten free food options here. So many great organic and homeopathic items. From coffee to tea and much more you can find it here. So glad this place exists in Gatlinburg!

If I could give this place a thousand stars I would! The owner is so kind and personable and the food is BOMB. I was so excited to find a vegan spot that fit my dietary restrictions so close to the smokies. Will definitely be hitting this spot up again when we return for another backpacking trip 👍
Vegan/dairy free friendly, superb price, best potato salad.
This is such a quaint and quiet place to shop! Its got great to go options. I and my wife got 2 wraps with potato salad on the side—all for under $15! The wraps were big and full of veggies, and the potato salad was better than my mom’s (my mom makes good potato salad).
If you want to enjoy very healthy food and a great change of pace from the typical Gatlinburg food, this is a wonderful spot. The food is excellent, and the service is great!
The food from the cafe was amazing! My 7 year old got the lentil burger and gave it “infinite stars” 😃 My other kids loved their hot wraps and my husband loved the cold wrap. It’s great to find vegan food that tastes great and the whole family could enjoy!
I would give this little healthy oasis 10 stars if I could. The food was delicious with many vegetarian & vegan friendly choices - a true rarity in this area. Their mask compliance and enforcement was perfect. I only wish their hours started earlier and ended later so I could have eaten every meal in Gatlinburg here!
Loved this hidden gem. It is a one stop shop for all of the hard to find natural and organic products that the local grocery stores didn’t carry. Thank you for being open and doing what you do.
Great place to go for real food. I had the lentil burger salad and it was delicious. Coffee was good. Will come back here before I leave Gatlinburg.
great little grocery for vegan and vegetarian items as well as some made-to-order wraps, sandwiches, and more. We tried the vegan lentil burger as well as the vegan vegetable hummus wrap. Both were very good and reasonably priced. They each came with a side so we tried the potato salad (vegan) and the pasta salad (vegan). A small eating area inside with a couple booths and tables which is convenient. Cold drinks in a cooler to choose from as well as tea and coffee (hot or cold).
ABSOLUTELY love this place!! Visiting Gatlinburg for a family vacation and this was pretty much the most comfortable. I felt eating in Gatlinburg… Gatlinburg is not really a place for health… So there’s not really options to be healthy there or in surrounding areas… If we wanted to look for healthy plant-based food we had to go to Knoxville… Anyways, the woman who worked at this place, who I assume is the owner was extremely helpful and friendly! And so so NICE!!! I ate a wrap and potato salad & couldn’t help going back in for a lentil burger after i took a bite of my man’s!!! Her food is simple & DELICIOUS!!! highly recommend to anyone trying to find healthier plant-based options while in Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge, etc!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
