We took my daughter there for her birthday as it's probably her favorite restaurant. She told us to get the Monkey Brains so we got two orders of those. I have to say they were the best!! I am craving them now and they were good cold the next day even! I had the Bento Box as I am not a fan of sushi. I got the Teriyaki Beef and I have to say it was the best I've ever had!! They use rib eye and it was so so so good!! I am not usually a fan of beef teriyaki but I wanted to try the rib eye. Also, I don't normally like Miso soup. Well, it's complimentary with your meal and I was expecting it to taste like the ocean but it didn't. It was SO good!! Then because it was our daughter's birthday, they gave us Tempura fried ice cream! It was so so good! I was so full!! (I took half of my meal home also!) I walked away that night feeling like I had one of the best meals I'd ever eaten! The service was good also! WE had Jeremy as our server and he was so attentive. :)

We love this restaurant. Sometimes server experience is spotty, but the food is always great. Last night I had something new as an appetizer. "Soft shell crab battered". Very tasty.

Our favorite lunch spot in Gig Harbor.. Seems to be a good place to see friends for lunch or dinner.. Great food! Great service!
I was passing through on my to an event. Called ahead for a sashimi platter. It was just about ready when I got there. I was pleasantly surprised at the generous portions. Will definitely stop by on my next pass through.
Domo Sushi is amazing. They treat us so well, make wonderful sushi and food, and always cater to my allergy needs. We are blessed by this establishment and we love going here and taking all our friends and family!

Eat here regularly both with clients and family. Service is very friendly. Love the lunch pick 3 favorite half rolls. They even do a lite on rice roll if you ask.
I have been to enough sushi places throughout the USA that it is really easy to easy to tell how good they are (at making rolls at least), you just order a spicy tuna roll. This place has the best spicy tuna roll I have ever had, it is heavy on the pepper paste, light on the mayo, brimming with tuna, and it is reasonably priced. I live in Belfair, but this is our go to place whenever we want sushi.
Excellent Sushi and Asian style cuisine restaurant. Table seating can be a challenge, best to make a reservation for a group. Check ahead. Large selection of Sushi rolls, Nigiri and Sashimi. Chef owner Jason is often working and is creative with a great sense of taste. Friendly staff and quick service.
Domo Sushi is excellent. Always fresh and well-prepared. Service can sometimes be slow, but always friendly and well-intended. Best sushi on this side of the bridge.
Wonderful food and great service. I would recommend it to anyone. This is the first time the entire family enjoyed a variety of sushi dishes. The best sushi in the Tacoma area.
Excellent food. Large menu and good size portions. Try the Ahi tower if it is offered. Nice atmosphere. Will definitely go there again.
AMAZING! Who would've thought that such a fabulous sushi restaurant could be found in Gig Harbor. Fabulous and fresh sushi, friendly wait staff, and serious sushi chefs who know their trade. I was even pleased by the prices! I'm visiting Gig Harbor from Seattle, was in search of a late dinner (they're open till 11pm every night but Sunday), and am so glad I gave this place a try. I'll be back!
P.S. - I recommend the Avocado Bomb if it's on the Specials menu. It's, well, the bomb!
The rolls here are magnificent with a large variety to choose from. If you're not into sushi, I noticed a large selection of other entrees on the menu. Miso soup is complimentary and is also very good. The server we had was extremely polite and got everything correct. They pay attention to the little things like hot tea which is served in a sturdy pot with loose leaf tea. This was our first visit and we'll definitely return.
Domo's Sushi is the place to go for excellent sushi. I love that they have a variety of "grouped" , delicious sushi choices, served on planks for a reasonable price. We usually have a group of four of us and order the "Uptown Platter" for $65.00
They serve complimentary miso soup if you request it and it is delicious! I definitely recommend Domo's for a great overall experience! Make sure to call ahead for a reservation if you are a larger group. The seating fills up fast.

Domo Sushi is one of my favorite spots to go in the Harbor.
When going for dinner, I love to get the avocado boat (must-try!) and order 3 sushi rolls to split with a friend. I have a larger than average appetite and I leave good and full after splitting the avocado boat app + 2-3 sushi rolls with a friend.
I used to love the lunch special (1/2 roll combo) but I don't know if they still offer it... it's been a while since I've ordered it.
I've tried most rolls on the menu and my go-to favorites are:
- 911
- Fish Lover's
- Rainbow/Super Rainbow
- Playboy
- Baja (lemon + cilantro!)
- Dragon Roll
I've always had excellent service when eating in the restaurant, and the take-out process is good as well.
The atmosphere is usually pleasant and calm, good conversational volume, perfect for visiting with a friend.
Parking is plentiful, as the restaurant is situated near larger stores such as Michael's Craft Store and Kohl's.
Lastly, my wife is not a big sushi eater, primarily due to the size of most sushi rolls. The waitstaff at Domo informed us that she could order any roll "princess cut" to reduce the size of the roll and make it easier to eat.
Came here on a Saturday evening after a long drive into town so we were really hungry. The rolls were absolutely HUGE! Top notch quality fish and the rest of the food is great too. We loved it so much we went back the very next day and it was even better than the first time. Found out on the second day that the sushi chefs are all Japanese, and for me this adds a level of authenticity to their food. HIGHLY recommend this place if you’re in town!

a couple, or just by yourself. The atmosphere inside is peace and relaxing. Most importantly! The food is DELICIOUS!
It’ll SATISFY your wants of what you choose and order to eat. They have LOTS of VARIETIES of food to choose from and also the desserts. I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you!
