Amazing dining experience! There was only a single server and he told us it would be a short wait following a large table that just ordered but we were in no hurry. The food came out quickly regardless and was as hot and fresh as you could ever ask for. Ordered 1 of everything on the Gyoza menu(double soup dumplings),Las Vegas Rolls(not on the menu but executed very well!), Edamame, Tea, Sake bombers, and the Green Tea Cheesecake. Everything was delicious and would order everything again! Must try spot!

For many years, i have been looking for a truly excellent Japanese restaurant that serves Ramen. Now, I've found that place. Gyoza Bar is a Japanese eatery that serves more traditionally styled items, such as traditional teppan gyoza (fried dumplings), tonkatsu ramen, curry dishes (surprising, lightly sweetened and very tasty), perfect sushi rolls and beef yakisoba. Of course, they also have all the standard Japanese drinks, hot green tea, Sake and Japanese beers. They also have unique items such as Japanese take on very excellent pork soup buns (which is typically more found in Chinese than Japanese traditional cuisine). On my first two visits here I tried everything I have mentioned in this review except for the alcohol. The staff was fast, efficient, and kind. The restaurant is small, and with social distancing, with about a half of a dozen tables for dining in. The location is a bit hidden around the corner to the south east of Val Vista and Baseline, but worth looking for it. The costs were reasonable for the quality and quantity of found we enjoyed, though not inexpensive. Overall, the amazing soup buns and absolutely spectacular tonkatsu ramen are a must for first things to try. But come back soon and make your way through the menu, trying their surprising curry dishes and excellent sushi. I will be back... you will too!

Really really great food! The way they make their gyoza is different but made fresh and the best I've ever had. Their ramen and yakisoba noodles are soft and delicious. They just opened 4 months ago and kind of hidden inside the plaza so it doesn't get busy. They have quality food, good prices, and excellent service.

Very competent sushi at a fairly reasonable price. Salmon sashimi was superior quality fish, with good bands of fat and plenty of flavor. No fresh wasabi served with it. The aloha roll was spicy, tasty, large, competently delivered, but not exceptional. Serving dishes are exceptionally beautiful. I like the ambience, very quiet and mostly empty, Japanese-language playlist, Asian servers. It feels authentic in a way most Sushi restaurants don’t. It fails to earn five stars because no artistry was displayed in the dishes, and the menu represents an unexceptional value. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Goyza Bar for anyone looking for good sushi in a laid back setting.

Very delicious experience. The soup bun was flavorful and had a good gush to it. Miso ramen was spicy & I liked that it had corn. The pork was flavorful and tender. I always love a good tangy cucumber salad. Very refreshing. Traditional gyoza was good.

I love the fact that this place is a family owned restaurant! The owners are a mom and pop Chinese couple with their daughter waiting tables. I went here for its opening day on Fri, Nov 30, with my husband. My husband is super picky with his sushi, and we are both sushi lovers, from the specialty, to the nigiri and sashimi. We ordered the sushi boat, and he loved the fact that the seafood was super super fresh, like melt in your mouth fresh. I loved the gyoza, and the noodle soup (ramen). The noodles are hand made and cut up by the owners fresh per order, and the vegetables and egg are made to perfection. If you're looking for a small, quaint sushi restaurant without the hustle and bustle of big named sushi restaurants, Gyoza Bar should be at the top of the list. Definitely a place to try out and get your sushi fix!

Wow, great food! My wife and 3 boys eat at this place 2-3 times a week. This place is new. We first saw this place open about 2 months ago. Location: connected to the same building as Cold Stone and the Thai restaurant. Waitress is always so friendly and provides great service! Sushi roles are flipping amazing. Make sure you order their Sesame Balls and Ice Cream for dessert. Price: Price is lower than Raw restaurant but higher than Tokyo Joes. You won't be disappointed!

My boyfriend and I were looking for a new place and saw all the amazing reviews so we had to give this place a shot. We were NOT disappointed! We’ve since gone back several times and tried almost all their sushi rolls by now. Their sushi is incredible, but, try the traditional gyoza, cherry blossom roll and soup buns (pictured below...these are our favorites)!!!! Part of me wants to keep this place a secret all to myself but they deserve so much recognition! Truly incredible food....every single time!!!

This place is amazing. I got the tofu ramen and the chili oil boiled dumplings. I'm so happy I found this place and I'll absolutely be returning!
