"Excellence and A-1 Service from Start to Finish!"
Whatever forces aligned to make me have the good fortune to find Judy's Island Grill, I will be eternally grateful! My family and I were planning my Mom's 92nd birthday celebration, and being of Caribbean descent, we specifically wanted a Caribbean caterer, but seemed to be having no luck. I'd already tried 4 or 5 other places, and was quite put off by the downright rude and unwelcoming reception. Then I reached out to Judy's Island Grill, and the rest of my Mom's beautiful 92nd birthday is history. From my initial email and phone consultation with Freka, to the tasting menu they so graciously put together for me at my request, to my in-person consultation with Norville, their GM, who patiently guided me through the catering process and who used his expertise in assisting me to pare down my menu selections when we came in a bit above budget, to the on-time and even before-time arrival and delivery of the food on the day of our event. And then to the food - oh, the glorious food. This is food that makes your soul sing. Oxtail stew that melts in your mouth. Curried chicken that is full of flavor and down home kinda goodness. Brown stew chicken. Jerk wings. Mac 'n cheese. Ackee and saltfish that made me have a real life come to Jesus moment. Rice and peas with that deep, rich flavor of coconut milk, thyme, pepper and whatever other special spices Madame Judy concocts in that precious bit of heaven she calls her kitchen. Every single solitary morsel was pure and simple deliciousness, and worth what I spent and then some. My 92 year old Mom enjoyed her birthday immensely, and a huge part of that enjoyment was her getting to eat the food she knows and loves. We are soooo very grateful to Judy's Island Grill for making our event as special as it was. Y'all, Judy's Island Grill is THE TRUTH, and if you haven't visited yet, stop reading this right now, get in your whip and speed on out to Glen Burnie to make your tummy happy. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed!
For an authentic Jamaican restaurant to be especially amazing it should surrounded by automotive repair shops and car dealerships in the heart of Glen Burnie Merlin, hun.

We ordered spicy jerk chicken, rice and peas, green beans, macaroni & cheese and Bob Marley wings! Let me tell you a little bit about my experience. 1st of all, considering it's neatly tucked-away location, I didn't really have high expectations.
Well, that went out the window, when I took my first bite into the flavorful, mouth-exploding, spicy jerk chicken, followed by heaping helpings of rice and peas. I don't say this often, but Oh My God!
I offer no criticism, but I would sure love to come to your kitchen to learn about your food, the restaurant and post it on Facebook Live.

Nestled between used car lots and transmission repair shops in Glen Burnie, the location is not exactly idyllic. But the food was among the best I've had, and the staff was great.
I just had a basic jerk chicken sandwich with fries - the chicken was tender, juicy, and spicy served between slices of deliciously sweet coco bread. And I'm really glad I ordered their homemade pineapple ginger juice - amazing! Marlon was super friendly, recommending their whole snapper on my next visit - which will be soon.
If this place was on the water/at a marina, I'd be here all the time! I'm pretty sure I'll be back often as it is.
Great vegan options. The jerk is perfectly spicy, the staff was friendly and beautiful, and the portion was plentiful. So glad I finally found this place.
I really enjoyed my first time at Judy's island grill. The only thing I wish is that they had more help. Our server was great even though he was very busy so I completely understood that he had to fill many positions. Other than that my experience was great. Great atmosphere and great food.
It was the best experience I had, for it to be my first time there. The service was great and the food was even better. I really enjoyed myself. I went on a Tuesday and it was karaoke night enjoyed listening to everyone sing. It was a wonderful atmosphere where you could just enjoy yourself.
First time visit, but certainly will not be my last...enjoyed the food, staff, and live music...felt like I was in Jamaica at a family members home!
I saw a Living Social deal for Judy's so I decided to give them a try. I must say I was not disappointed. I ordered the chicken curry roti, jerk chicken, rice and peas and plantains. Everything was amazing! I will definitely be going back.
I was at Judy's for lunch the first day and had Oxtail, rice and peas and plantains. The taste was awesome! which brought me back the second day for lunch. This time I had their Jerk Chicken w/rice & peas and plantains. This time I am hooked! My next order will be a Roti. I think this restaurant is "the bomb". From the staff to their meals. It is very cozy and they make you feel right at home! 5 stars deserved.
I have been here a few times now, every time is better then the last. This time I got the shrimp scampi with jasmine rice and it was aaaaamazing! One of my favorite places to eat!
I have been to their Park Heights location years ago . . Little did I know they had opened one right up the road from me. My friend and I found it and was I ecstatic! We sat down and it was a lunch rush so our server Arnold did an amazing job keeping us in the loop of what was going on and he was very attentive. He also told us about where he was from and his future plans. He was a great personable guy which you dont find to often. I ordered the oxtail with the Mac n Cheese and the greens and it was amazing! My friend got the curry goat which was awesome too. If you are an adventurous eater and love authentic food try Judys! They wont disappoint!

Love this place I’ve eating at the location on Baltimore city for years an decided to check this location out. Super nice set up and vibe, I came in on a Sunday an they had live music. Food was AMAZING, drinks where good & my friend almost cried at how pretty and good the rainbow cake was. Can’t wait to retun.
OMG. Absolutely amazing. Ambiance was very nice. The staff was super friendly and the food was super good. All thebtradioonal island cuisine plus some local fare. Brown stew chicken had me licking my fingers.

I absolutely love this place and tell everyone about it, from family and friends, to local businesses and Administrators, so they could patronize it. It is a sweet island getaway with a dine in cafe section, full service bar and serving window, all sheathed in an authentic thatch and bamboo awning to give an outdoorsy effect. It is one of the few Jamaican real places I can go to get a taste of “yaad” food! Plantain and fish is always on point. Patties crispy and hot with coco bread. They also have decent vegetarian patties and the stir fry if you are trying to stay healthy and quite an assortment of desserts. I had rave reviews when I gave out the rainbow lemon cake to some of my staff. Take your pick, ambiance, food, drink, dessert are good. These areas I’d give top ratings to even now even though parking can be a bit tight at times but...it is still an excellent place to dine in, take away or dine out. Consider Judi’s when you want is look and good. It will always be a good option. Thumbs up Judi!
