Stopped at Ruby's for the 1st time food was great we all had different burgers on the menu all were cooked perfectly and tasted great also had a awesome tasting strawberry milkshake which is well worth it. Awesome atmosphere staff were all very friendly and great service!!
The atmosphere is adorable, the service is excellent, and the Cobb salad is the best I’ve ever eaten. Their burgers are great and milk shakes wonderful. All for a very reasonable price. One of my favorite places to eat.
Man we love this place. Friendly people and wait staff, great food never had a bad meal, and overall we just love the look of the diner. Bright colors, candy striped uniforms, and a toy train. What more could you ask for. Oh yea...the orange 50/50 shake. Reminds me of a hot summer day.

I’m visiting from Texas and was babysitting my grandsons and brought them to Ruby’s last evening. They had chicken fingers and milkshakes. They’re both obsessed with trains and that was an added bonus. I had a burger and it was great. We all enjoyed the experience. Food was really good and service was excellent. It was nice to be greeted at the door with a big smile. We’ll definitely be back my next visit.
Awesome place! Very clean,loved the ambiance. The waitresses are all so friendly ,and I absolutely love their uniforms - it brings you back to the 50's ! A great place for family & friends to sit back,relax and indulge in their magnificent milkshakes! I'll definitely be back soon ! My waitress Meghan was super nice !
This place is nice! The food is good and what I expect for a diner. I love the 50’s vibe. The Cobb salad was good and what I expect for a nice salad. At the gum ball machine I got a red gum ball which means you either get a free milkshake or root beer float! I love ruby's and I plan to come back again.
We stopped in here for our last meal in Philly. We decided to get a quick late lunch, since we didn't get breakfast.
Loved the retro feel of the diner.
The manager was very pleasant and warm. It is so good to get a welcome like that. We were escorted to our table which had a sign to signify that the area was cleaned and sanitized.
Our young server was very kind and sweet as the manger. I decided to order the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a raspberry iced tea, and hubby ordered the seafood platter with fries and a raspberry iced tea as well.
Everything was served fresh and hot.
I would've gave five stars, but I could not keep my eyes off the server's uniform. I know spills and stains do happen, but those stains were an eyesore for me.
We found Ruby's diner after visiting The Oasis Arcade nearby. So cute!! We love the nostalgia look and feel and Ruby's delivered it all! The building, the booths and tables, the decor, the menu, the music, and the food. Perfect. I especially love that they allow you to substitute turkey for your burger for free and they have wheat buns or lettuce wraps. I have histamine intolerance and that is amazing for me! Plus sweet potato fries! The food was fast, fresh, and delicious. My son adored his oreo milkshake and my husband loved his cherry coke and huge burger. The only reason that I gave 4 stars was because of the bathroom. I am in a wheelchair and the handicapped stall unfortunately doesn't work well. The door swings in instead of out making it impossible to get a wheelchair in to the otherwise spacious stall and still close the door. Otherwise this would definitely be a 5 star!
Great diner staple, but we mostly enjoy it because our boys (4 and 6) love it. They have great kid-sized shakes, my kids love watching the train set go around on the ceiling, and the foldable card board cars are a great entertainment while waiting on food. The staff is always pleasant, the food is always prompt and tasty, and our kids never whine.

This place is a throwback to the soda fountain joints of the fifties and sixties. The atmosphere was lively with a train running above your head on a track. The restaurant adheres to Covid guidelines by spacing the tables and requiring masks. Each table is sanitized prior to the next seating. The food and service was very good.
