LOVE this local ice cream shoppe!!! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Linda the owner is beyond amazing!!! Ice cream is homemade!!! New flavors are always being added!! The waffle cones are also made fresh and they are delicious!!!!
Went here with my family, none of us had been before, but we were told the ice cream was great. And it IS! I'm not even dairy-free but I had the two dairy-free flavors, coffee and pumpkin pie, in a waffle bowl, and it tasted like a pumpkin spice latte. It was amazing. Would love to come back to try more flavors, but that combo is a WIN.
I loved this place such a nice peaceful environment and delicious ice cream. You can't go wrong with those two things. I had a single dip chocolate ice cream scoop in a waffle cone. They hand make the waffle cones in house. The ice cream flavors are always picked to match the season. The ice cream is purchased from from a private company that loves their job. You can tell in the flavors they like what their doing.
A must-go spot in downtown Glendale! Quaint place with a fun outdoor area. Lots of terrific ice cream and sorbet options. Linda is the best. Go make a new memory!
Definitely stop by this cute little gem if you’re on this side of town! Walked in and was greeted by a woman and young lady behind the counter. Both super friendly. The place is well kept and outside there’s space for kids to run around. The ice cream and sorbet were both delicious. Will be going back every time I’m on that side of town.
Yummy! The homemade ice cream is made by Karen Kreamery. So many good flavors it was hard to decide. I had the lavender honey. There were lavender flowers in every bite and butter pecan that had nice chunks of pecan in every bite. So delicious. It's such a cute little shop that sits in the back of a house surrounded by greenery. Too cute! They sell cute little buttons that are designed by local children artist. Proceeds go to charity. Great customer service!!
First visit was in mid-July. I have been almost every week since then. Great ice cream flavors and wonderful service. I plan on many more trips to my fave ice cream shop before the year is out!
We were in the area of Glendale, and we were looking around places to get some ice cream. Papa Ed’s came up, and it looked SO cute so we had to try! Definitely one of the best ice cream places I have been too! The decor on the outside was so adorable, quaint, sweet, like you were right at home! The inside was small with a sweet aroma, and a wonderfully decorative interior. The service was awesome! She was so sweet, and helpful with our questions. Let me get to the ice cream... the flavors!!!! The variety was from your regular chocolate, vanilla, mint chocolate chip, but they also had honey lavender, peach habanero, butter pecan, dark cherry and so many more varieties! They even had vegan ice cream and sorbets! We will definitely be going back! This place is a must try!
Wonderful hidden gem of a place one of a kind of you haven't been here you are missing bigtime. Converted old garage into classic ice cream shoppe in back alley of Old Glendale. Beautiful garden . Great ice cream some local even Vegan ice cream!
This place was so quaint! This establishment was located in the back of a historic residential home. Walking into the back yard where the little icecream shop is located, is like walking into a page out of the secret garden. One can tell the great care they take of this little shop and it's surrounding atmosphere. The butter pecan is amazing. They also make their children size with children's size scoops rather than a tiny cone with adult size scoops. My friend got a picture of this which I will post at a later time.
Excellent ice cream (I got the delicious butternut pecan on a cone) in the unique and super cute Old Town Glendale. Miss Linda is such a nice person, and the ice creamery is just a little jewel! Go get pampered in her cute garden and enjoy her delicious ice cream when you get a chance!
Went here during the off season so it was hot an needed some ice cream after walking around Glendale AZ Historic District. Stores in an old garage behind the house turned into a nice clean an bright ice cream shop. Owner was there that day an we had a wonderful talk with her about the store an area. Ice cream was excellent an had some local an different flavors. Next time we are in Glendale we will be stopping by again!
I ordered the Hot Fudge Peanut Parfait. Take Linda's suggestion and use Butter Pecan ice cream instead of vanilla😍. It is heaven!! I got into so quickly that I had to borrow their picture of before, after is mine. Definitely go there!!!

The best ice cream flavors like spicy peach, frozen (blue w cheesecake), lavender, watermelon sorbet. Non dairy, gluten free & vegan options too!
The ice cream was phenomenal! The outside patio makes it a wonderful experience all around. ❤
Update: Papa Ed's is still a favorite, even in this heat. It's a must to stop here if you're in the area.
