Traditional greasy spoon with traditional menu. The patty melt and fries were awesome, and the breakfast is great.

We stayed at this new motel, and ate at this wonderful diner in Glendive Mt. It is worth a trip. The price of the motel was reasonable and right, the dinner was awesome and the free breakfast was simply scrumptious. The service from the staff was excellent. The food was hot and tasty. We had lovely accommodations which included a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, a two burner stove, microwave and sink. I had a hot soak in the wonderful bath/shower. Our pets were free! Climbing up onto the bed (it's high) was a trick for short people, but the queen bed was very comfy. Thanks so much Oak Tree Inn and Penny's Diner. My valentine weekend stay was perfect!

We were at Penny's Diner very early on Black Friday morning. The cook was doing double duty as waitress & cook. He did a super job. Excellent customer service. Great food.

It’s not your typical ‘greasy spoon’. The service was outstanding and the down home atmosphere was welcoming and much appreciated. Staff were excellent and hard working. I had a make your own omelette with hash browns and my dad had the ranch breakfast. Both dishes were served quickly and the coffee was great as well. The place could use a deep clean and even a redesign of the kitchen layout. Keep at it ladies! 😎

We loved it. Didn't have our phones for the QR menu so the cook asked what we wanted and delivered......I was really good. The cook chatted with us and was very personable. It was very clean. No greasy spoon here. The 1950's theme is whT made it for us to go on. Definitely in our top 5 breakfast places

Stopped in for lunch while passing through town on a road trip. Fun 50s vibe and really good diner food. The grilled cheese comes with four slices of cheese— and you can pick four different kinds of cheese if you want! The bacon lovers cheeseburger had a literal mound of bacon on it. The tots that came with the sandwiches were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside. Wish we weren’t so full from lunch or we definitely would have tried their shakes as well!

A fun, take-you-back-in-time diner, open 24/7. Jennifer was so helpful and friendly. The food was excellent; onion rings the way they should be made. And I highly recommend the Frisco sandwich.
