The perfect date night restaurant. The atmosphere was phenomenal. My wife and I sat in the library dining room, which had a beautiful fireplace. There were some very quaint private tables that overlooked the dining room, I will be thinking about reserving one of those next time! Dinner wasn't be cheap, but you will not be disappointed! It's not outrageously priced though either. The food was incredible! They have a nice beer and wine selection. You won't be disappointed, this place is awesome!

Three of us went to Hartwood Restaurant for lunch a short while ago. The staff were very friendly, and our waiter was outstanding. The interior was cute and pleasant. We loved the majority of our food. The shrimp wontons were delicious, as well as the seafood risotto and the cottage pie. We were not crazy about the goat cheese salad, but that could just be a personal preference. My daughter and I returned on 5/21. We sat outside on their adorable patio surrounded by plants. Again, we loved the food. I got the crispy fried chicken (with lavender sea salt, peppercorn honey and whipped potatoes). I also got a side of zucchini ratatouille, and we were surprised at how much we liked it. She got the wild mushroom and asparagus risotto that comes in a bowl made of parmesan cheese. We totally loved the food and enjoyed the experience. We plan to go back very soon!

My sister suggested Hartwood the last time my wife & I visited home, and it was a great dining and social experience. So we agreed on Hartwood for our family meal following our Moms memorial service. Planning the event for their private room was so easy and simple. The food and appetizer options were hard to pick from, as they all sounded amazing, and the items we chose somehow exceeded our high expectations. Highly recommend the delicious shrimp (3 bite shrimp-hyge), candied bacon and crab rolls. The welcome and service from Josh and our server Jordan was like talking to friends. We were there over three + hours and never waited/wanted for anything, they were on top of it without being invasive. The restaurant style and decor makes you really feel at home, and the staff enhance the feeling. The descriptions and menu make promises the chef certainly keeps (everyone was happy with their meal choice). This is exceptional food, a mix of fine-dining and upscale gastropub style, served in one-of-a-kind comfortable surroundings. Whether your party is two or 10, its a 5-star experience.
My husband and I had a very enjoyable experience at this restaurant recently. The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely, and the service was excellent. We would easily recommend Hardwood Restaurant & Whispers Pub to anyone.
Everything’s here was excellent. I have the seafood trio app ( shrimp, poke and crab Louis, $15) and seared Scottish salmon with garlic aioli, roasted onion risotto and zucchini ratatouille ($24). Burgers and sandwiches about $15. Entrees $24 to &32. Good service, nice outdoor patio. It’s not high-end fine dining, nor trying to be that, but very good for its category. Casual. Recommended
Atmosphere inside and outside is amazing! Great seating and lots of space. The waiters and waitresses here are also phenomenal and go above and beyond to make sure you’re happy with your dinner. Everything I had was delicious!
This was our first visit, but it definitely will not be our last. It was a true dining experience. I had the veal braciole which was a special. It was very good. My wife had their filet which was excellent. The fried goat cheese was a perfect appetizer. Our server was also excellent. In fact, all of the servers that I noticed were very attentive to their guests. We sat outside in their covered patio which is a very nice space and it contributed to our enjoyment.
