Me favorite place to get coffee in Gloucester- pretty much stop there everyday before work so much in fact they start making my "regular" while I'm in line. Everyone is friendly , and the prices are great! Delicious sandwiches and the backed goods are so good esp. the scones - hands down best on the Northshore!

At least once a month, we drive to Gloucester for lunch and coffee (65 miles). And Coffee is always at the Lone Gull. The shop appeals to all the senses. The aroma and the taste of the coffee is amazing, and the decor is delightful to the eyes, with the gallery of local artists adorning the walls. And the staff are friendly and courteous.

I love this place. It is a regular part of routine so much so that if we don't leave the house by a certain time my daughter is wondering what is up with her hot chocolate. If we go somewhere else "It is not the same" or "Too sweet!" or "No whipped cream and sprinkles?" You guys have given my child extreme expectations as far as the hot chocolate market goes but I do not see my routine changing and I am more than content with that. Thank you for being so fantastic all around. Great coffee, food, atmosphere, and staff 💜

Great place to relax and recover :). After some outdoor time on our New England vacation trip, the Lone Gull was a great place to hang out in the comfy sofa for an hour drinking coffees and hot chocolates with our 3 daughters. The staff has a great sense of humour and the atmosphere is fantastic.

Why is this place in Gloucester?. Or maybe the real question would be: why can't I find a place like this in Boston? Big leather couches, good coffee, nice music, and most importantly, no one is sitting there with their laptops.
That's one message to all these people who stay for hours in nice coffee shops, enjoying wireless and not drinking coffee, while I'm standing there hoping that someone leaves and that I can FINALLY seat down and enjoy some conversation and drink my coffee: take your stupid laptop, your ipod and go work in the library, that's what they're built for.

Cathy. I love the atmosphere of Lone Gull Coffee House. The baked goods served are delicious and fresh. I'd like to see some fresh wheat breads or other items with less fat content added to the menu.
It's a great place where people from in and around Gloucester meet and enjoy each others company for hours on end.

The cuban latte was perfectly done. Ok I do like richly flavored sweet things. A double shot of espresso, 2 spoons of brown sugar and steaming hot half and half cream. This for me is up there with the authentic Cuban cafe con leche you find down in those little Cuban restaurants in Florida.

Nice coffee shop in the north shore! My wife and I were searching for a coffee shop where we could enjoy a coffee and pastry in a nice and comfortable atmosphere and Lone Gull ended up meeting both of our criteria. We ordered a medium coffee, medium vanilla latte and a sugar cookie that had white chocolate chips. Everything was good and the vanilla latte and the right amount of syrup in it. The cookie was fresh and oversized. It was a nice treat. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. I felt that there were a lot of regulars in there as there was conversation between a few of the patrons. The pricing was very reasonable as our bill came to less than $9 which would normally be closer to $15 if we placed the same order at a Boston-located coffee shop. Nice place and we’ll be back!

Gloucester is one of those place where the people make you feel your family. The Lone Gull is no exception. It's the perfect size, not big, not to small. very comfortable seating. Clean well lit. The food is great, I mostly have had the pastries and they were fresh, right out of the oven fresh. I love coffee so.... an important factor in determining if I'll come back is the quality of you basic coffee. It was Excellent! My Barista was warm, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I try to stop by whenever I'm in Gloucester.

Awesome coffee! Came here both days of our weekend visit to Gloucester it was so good. Service was very friendly and made us feel like regulars. The seating area is closed due to covid, but there is a marvelous collection of potted plants displayed on the tables that were fun to look at. Highly recommend the Cuban Latte (if you want a sweet treat) and their branded baseball cap as a souvenir!

Really tasty coffee blend, with nutty/chocolate notes. Reasonably priced despite inflated costs lately. The staff were really kind and friendly, and the interior space is cozy and clean.

Terrific coffee house. There are so many choices. My husband was very pleased he could get pumpkin spice in May. We have been there every day of our vacation and will miss this place when we return home. I almost forgot to mention the scones are wonderful

A nice little coffee shop. Great products. The Pandora radio was a little too loud and included annoying and loud commercials. Had to wear closed back headphones. Update: frequented when son was studying ballet and they fixed the Pandora problem. Great staff!

My favorite coffee spot in Gloucester! This is a really great local gem. I love that their are a TON of coffee choices (seriously, try an amaretto iced latte one of these days) as well as some smoothie and tea options as well. I got a delicious ice-cold lemonade this past summer and it was just perfect. That and the relaxed, comfy atmosphere make this one of my favorite spots in town. I just wish they were open a bit later!

Lone Gull has been my favorite coffee shop in Gloucester ever since they opened! Great coffee, nice menu options, love the smoothies. The service is always good and it's the best when you score one of the super comfy couches! (I wish they still made paninis, those were also my favorite in Gloucester while they were around.)

Great coffee, and very friendly owner and staff. Small amount of seating, but it's cozy and comfy when you get it. Bathrooms are a little janky. Definitely a good coffee stop, though.

Good espresso drinks - limited food choices. On street parking. Cool little coffee shop, looks like it is still kind of half set up/shut down inside from covid days though...

A cute little neighborhood coffee shop, with incredibly friendly staff, a great drink selection, and delicious fresh-baked pastries--my wife said it was the best raspberry crumble she had ever tasted! We'll be back next visit to Gloucester!

Great coffee. Best on Main street. Friendly staff. Seems to be the place to bump into so many people! There is limited seating, but that's fine as there's standing room. In the summer the outdoor seating is a good idea. I love that they offer extras like almond milk. Good iced coffee and flavors if that's what you like. My favorite coffee shop in Gloucester.

You know it's good when the line is 10 people deep. There are about 10 tables for seating as well as a couple of comfy chairs in the back. Service is excellent and they are very friendly.
