Went there today to get a lobster roll I won and it was amazing , definitely one of the best lobster rolls I’ve had in a while . Would definitely recommend.
Fun place with great food! Staff is friendly and welcoming. Doug is a top notch guy who is a real down to earth true Gloucesterman. If you are ever in the area stop in and support a great local place with great food options!
We got a sandwich platter, and the chicken bites for a holiday party and they were fantastic!! The service was A1A! He wanted us to try the lobster rolls, but I declined due to a fish allergy, so he threw in three lobster rolls anyway, completely packaged separately and labeled so I would not have a reaction. When someone gives food away, you know it's good, and the reports were just that, outstanding!! He gave us three knowing full well we would be back time and time again!!
Friendly service. The fresh lobster roll was huge and scrumptious! Toasted roll with light mayo on lobster was a perfect combination. We will be back!!�

Went there for lunch today and got a Chicago dog. It was the best one I've had and they said the relish is imported from Chicago. We also ordered a lobster roll and it was ALL LOBSTER, no fillers and it was on a toasted buttered roll. Absolutely delicious!
I was down at Long Beach with my kids who love hot dogs. We decided to try this food truck out, Best hot dogs and we are coming back for more! Thank you!!

Doug (the owner of Salty Frank's Dogs) catered my wedding this past weekend and was truly exceptional. The lobster rolls, seafood chowder, beans, and potato salad were fantastic and greatly enjoyed by all in attendance. He also makes his own sodas and made up a special label for the wedding :). In addition to excellent food Doug is himself quite a character and made the evening even more fun than it otherwise might have been. Thanks Doug!

Excellent lobster roll for just $9! Light mayo, light bun that is grilled and buttery delicious. Hot dog was good too w their house sauce and sauerkraut for just $2.
Best lobster roll I've ever had. Roll was perfectly buttered and toasted. I would definitely recommend stopping in when in the Gloucester area!

I'm pretty sure it was "Salty Frank" that served my mum and I when we stopped in on a chilly late October day for an early dinner. He was extremely friendly, willing to engage in conversion and more than happy to answer all our questions about the area, and then some, in a helpful manner.
He's a member of the Chamber of Commerce for the area so he has some extra pamphlets, maps and insider info other places may not. He generously accepts all coupons from the CoC of Cape Ann, I believe.
He was out of something I wanted so charged me less for something else I ordered that was sort of comparable, and was nice enough to let us taste test a couple flavours of ice cream we were unsure about.
The best parts: he carries true peppermint ice cream year round, and personally delivers (read escorts) his fresh lobsters to faraway lands like Phoenix and San Diego! As long as you pay for the lobsters and to fly him out, it's usually cheaper than to ship them, he'll deliver!
He also delivers regular made to order menu items locally to the Cape Ann area, and carries Moxie and diet Moxie on the regular.
Great lobster roll, cute small shop. The man working was super sweet. Maybe this was Frank? ;)
