The food was great and our server was awesome. We had the crab cakes, fried okra, fried green tomatoes, hush puppies and fries.
Never heard of that place before and we frequently travel to south Carolina to visit family every thing was just great we are customers from now own, in our travels from Tampa to there.
I was amazingly surprised at how good the food was today. It had been a while since our last visit due to a past experience and the reviews I've read. The shrimp were the best I have had in a long time and service was excellent. Thank you Gilligan's in Goose Creek for being one of my favorite restaurants again!
The service was fantastic. The food was hot and tasted wonderful. We were asked if we would like a drink for the road. The manager came to our table to inquire about our visit. Great experience.
Great food, friendly staff n down home atmosphere. Love their prices & specials too.
They are always very friendly and fast. I'm a fan of their fried shrimp on a big salad, but seafood platters are pretty good too. Prices seem pretty reasonable too.
We had great service and our food was Delicious! The hush puppies are always a huge hit. My stir fry was perfect and my husband's shrimp were cooked just as he likes them. We will definitely go back! Thank you!

The food was better than I expected and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The staff are very welcoming and ready to make your experience a memorable one. A very good small town seafood restaurant that does not disappoint. Very glad we stopped in.

We've visited this location twice in about a month with some of our church family. I know it is a seafood restaurant but the chicken and waffles are to absolutely die for! And let's not forget the best hush puppies you will ever eat!
On both occasions, the manager has been intentional in checking in on us before and after receiving our food! I can't recommend trying this place enough! Excellent food and service!
This place is awesome. Small town feel with excellent food service. I have visited 2 locations and both were exceptional. Have a great family meal that won't break the bank.
All you can eat shrimp platter and oysters (This year 5lb trays) still an excellent value.
I mean we all know they are understaffed. Patience is the key.
Contradicting to others negative comments, I had a wonderful meal from this branch. Server Jojo was very attentive and nice. Food was very good. And the wait was not that bad at all.
I would rather visit this branch than the moncks corner one. The latter is usually packed and busy and loud.
If it is the quality that makes this branch lesser busier, I would definitely disagree with that based off of my experience.
And yes, we will definitely come back.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality this time. I haven't been to this Gilligan's in over 4 years but this time the food was on point & service was good.
This was my 1st time trying Gilligan's, the Calamari was really good. Our server was very nice and was on point, very professional. The only negative would be my chicken was over cooked and pretty dry but all in all a great experience for my first visit. We will definitely be coming back.
Service was very good. No many other customers but we were early. Food was good. Especially liked that the manager came by the table after we were served. Not before the drinks and food arrived.

On top of of it & the Food Was Fresh & tasty! We ordered appetizers of all sorts, and the big hit for the night was the flounder and shrimp!
First time here for seafood on a Friday night, no crowd or wait. We had the shrimp dip appetizer which is served with captains wafers crackers, individually wrapped, alittle pricey for the small serving. Husband ordered the seafood trio which consisted of shrimp, scallops and mahi mahi (broiled and boiled), all very good. He also had the she-crab soup which he said was very good. I had their seafood special which consisted of salmon, a crabcake and shrimp. The salmon was very bland but the other two were great. Our server, Sabrina, was excellent!
The manager and bartender were wonderful! Great food and atmosphere. Will be going there again!
Went in for a late lunch..had gator bites for appetizer..then fried oysters..red rice..fried okra .oh and those famous hush puppies 😎
