Good for Granbury. I've been a couple of times and all the servers have been very polite and courteous and service has been good.
I've ordered sushi both times and it has been made in a timely fashion and has good fresh ingredients. Granted, it's not going to be top dollar sushi, but it is definitely worth a try.

WE LOVED THE STAFF AND THE FOOD!. I had been there a few years ago and knew a couple of friends that went there just about every week, so i gather up my boyfriend and another couple and decided to give it a go. WE LOVED IT. we wanted hibachi seating and there was a wait (because it was busy) so we waited at the bar and had a few drinks. The bartender was AWESOME! made us laugh, and was very personable! When we were sat, it did take a bit for the waitress to come around but she over all did her job. Now the Hibachi chef was so AMAZING! HE MADE THE EXPERIENCE FOR US, he was very cool, laid back and talked to us the whole time, and since i am not new to hibachi grills i will tell you that most of the time you are just sitting there watching them cook...not this time, he was funny and taught us a few things as well! The food was fantastic and the sushi we ordered for appetizer was fast and delicious! even my friends that had never tried sushi before loved it! It was a great experience and i am headed there tonight for sushi with the girls!!!
Hands down, the best place to eat in Granbury. My wife and I love it. Their filet minion melts in ones mouth. And the fat Tuesday is the best sushi roll ever...... I wish we had tried it earlier.
This is a wonderful japanese place on a scale of 1 - 10 I would give it a 12! The coastal fusion is a excellent sushi roll and the liquid Mary Jane is a wonderful cocktail they offer!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. I love this restaurant! They have sushi down to a science! try the SPider Roll, Fire on ice or my fav the SunfireRoll!!! Tom keep up the good work!
Pretty good food. Sushi was absolutly great. Hibatchi was ok. Food was mostly good. Could use a little more seasoning to boost some of the flavors. The chef was kind of boring. No entertainment beyond the banging and the flaming volcano. Will be coming back for the sushi for sure though!!!!
I absolutely love this place! The sushi bar and the bar are where I spend my money. We usually get the same waiter and he does a great job for us.
Miyako. In a way I love this restaurant. The food is amazing. Some of the best I've ever tasted. And the chefs both sushi and hibachi are nice and funny. The only problem I have with this place is the waitstaff. They are sufferable at best. I've found that I prefer to call orders in and just pick them up instead of dealing with being waited on.
Our favorite Japanese restaurant in town, we do come quite often so had tried several sushi and sashimi options. They do offer hibachi also in a separate room, what is nice because it’s a complete different atmosphere. Rattlesnake and the caterpillar rolls are probably our favorite rolls but this time we ordered the boat and it didn’t disappoint us. Service is usually quick.
Loved my experience here. Tiffany was an excellent server, very polite, friendly and professional. Food was good. I ordered shrimp tempura bento and fried ice cream that I've never tasted before. It was unusual but good.
Place is very cozy, has two separate rooms for regular and hibachi dining. Wasn't too busy, very clean and had lights dimmed down, which gave it a very relaxing feel. Music was also very soothing and pleasant to the ear.
It's a but hidden off of the busy highway strip but definitely worth a visit or two :)
Miyako Japanese Restaurant, I’ve been craving sushi for a few months now. What I just had in your restaurant was beyond mouth watering. Hands down my favorite to date! Customer service was fantastic and our waitress, Bri was outstanding! Very knowledgeable of the menu and very friendly. I also had a pleasant conversation with Wilson behind the sushi bar.

I LOVE this place!! The food is wonderful and they have great service. I always get the rattlesnake roll which is in the picture... AMAZING!!
Seated immediately the day after valentine's day (closed Mondays so v day this year) service was great! Red Snapper and Pepper Tuna Sushi was incredible! Rattlesnake Roll was delicious! Sitting at the sushi bar let's you get to know (or catch up with) the sushi chefs. It's really a wonderful experience. I wish I could give more than 5 stars honestly. I've loved Miyako since the year they opened and it's always been an amazing place. I'm always excited to bring friends when they visit so they understand why I refer to Miyako as the best sushi experience I've ever had. Thank you.
