Visited La Figata for the first time last night. We ordered a pepperoni pizza which was excellent. Thin crispy crust, good sauce and the fresh basil on top brought it all together. We also ordered the white chocolate pumpkin bread pudding, which was good, but didn't taste much like white chocolate, just pumpkin. Next time I will try one of their pasta dishes, which looked delicious. Definitely worth a visit
They have pasta flights and each one was delicious! We also got the brussell sprouts which were ok in my opinion but my friend loved them. They also have a good wine selection.
Nice homemade Italian food. To the side of the building is an outside patio to sit outside which was really nice. The food was good. Only 4 stars because the food wasn't excellent it was very much like Italian food I make at home.
Italian restaurant and gluten free are usually opposites but La Figata knocked it out of the park. Our server was awesome, we wanted a slow paced dinner to catch up with friends and she recognized right away that we weren't in a hurry. She was warm, friendly, and really helpful with the menu and my dietary restrictions. The dinner selections were well thought out and designed so it was hard to choose. The food came out super fresh and was delicious. I would strongly recommend this restaurant for either a date night or catching up with friends. Thanks a bunch we'll be back.
Pretty good spot got a few pizzas and some appetizers for a larger party. Pizza was buffalo chicken, sausage and kale, and pepperoni and everything was very good. Not the best I've had in Connecticut but really solid. Apps were their meatballs, garlic bread, and salads. Portions could've been a bit bigger but luckily we had plenty of pizza as well. Overall good experience!
I love the casual atmosphere and the Happy Hour specials are great. They change the menu often and be sure to have Brenda prepare your drink at the bar! She’s a pro!
