Some of the best Pho I have ever had! The family that runs this place is also amazing at providing great customer service and working hard to give you a lasting impression!
The pho is delicious. Love the egg rolls. Very friendly fast service.
My mom and I wanted to try something new, and we saw the high reviews online. It was fantastic. Even my youngest son, who is a notoriously picky eater, liked it! The family running the restaurant were friendly and welcoming. Plan to come back and bring more people!
Ate here for my first time today. Food was delicious and the service was awesome. I will definitely plan a return visit!
We were on our way from Michigan to Colorado on a family vacation and noticed your restaurant and its excellent ratings on Yelp. Upon entering we were met with a courteous smile and hello. From the spring rolls to the Pho we were not disappointed! We hope to be back soon!!
Such delicious food and very friendly people. First time having Vietnamese food since my adoption in 2006. Thanks for the welcoming and sense of belonging Noodle House! You guys are the greatest restaurant I have ever visited. ^﹏^
Pleasant surprise! We will be back! Huge portions, superb & very authentic food, great prices, accommodating service. (Beef pho, egg rolls, and vermicelli noodle bowl were great picks.) Thanks Noodle House!
A Great Family Run Restaurant. God Bless the founders of the Pizza Hut chain. Little did they know when they started opening up their hundreds of Pizza Huts across the Midwest 50 or so years ago that they would unintentionally lead to the creation of hundreds of Mom-n-Pop Mexican, Chinese and other ethnic reataurants after the turn of the Century.
We've all seen lots of examples of closed up Pizza Huts becoming little burrito and taco houses, Hole in the wall Chinese dining and take away places, and even places to find Ethiopian and Sudanese cuisine in unpretentious surroundings. Well, Grand Island is no exception, as at least one dried up Pizza Hut recently was converted to The Noodle House Vietnamese restaurant. After seeing rave reviews online I decided to check out what all of the fuss was about. I'm glad I did.
Opened in 2014, the Noodle House has a very small menu, which consists of maybe 10 items in total. The two Vietnamese spring rolls I ordered to start my meal were quite tasty. They were served slightly warm, with a thick peanut dipping sauce.
Not more than 5 or so minutes after ordering my main course appeared...the crispy noodles with chicken and seafood. It resembled a bird's nest, with the meat, seafood and veggies laid in the middle of a nest of noodles. It all rested atop a thick broth that almost resembled brown gravy. I used the broth to soften the noodles up. It worked perfectly for that purpose.
The noodles, veggies and protein made for a very enjoyable dinner.
Service was unfailingly polite and friendly. The chef/host encouraged me to try the phô, which he is obviously quite proud of, but I just wasn't in the mood for soup. The restaurant recently added roast duck to the menu, and other additions are planned later on.
This restaurant is located a bit off the beaten path, but not more than 5-10 minutes away from most every part of town. If you enjoy Vietnamese food, especially phô, in a friendly, clean-as-can-be facility, this may just be the place for you.
