Update; I had to drop a star. While the food continues to be very good on the buffet, the afternoon staff is just consistently subpar. They sit at a table on their phones and generally pay no attention to the customers. It's quite a shame because it's probably preventing us from coming back. Great buffet for lunch. High quality Indian Food. Would love to see it busier so it stays around! If you like Indian food, it wasn't too try it for the first time a buffet is a great option. Highly recommended.

The food was very good, so many excellent choices and you can choose your heat on a scale of 0 to 5, I went with 2.5 and my dinner guest went with 0. I loved the view of the Grand River while dining, and the restaurant was so quiet it was very relaxing. I had the Mango Lamb and Naan, and would order it again. I noticed that there were a lot of take out orders, but at 6:00 P M. I was a little worried that we were the only 2 dining, another party of several people came in as we were leaving, I hope this restaurant thrives because good Indian food, especially on my side of town is hard to find. Hopefully I will be back soon.

Lunch Buffet to-go! The food is amazing and authentic, and it is a cozy cute little restaurant. Looked like lots of locals know and love the place! The owners were so sweet, kind, and friendly. They kept putting out fresh food for the buffet. Prices for lunch are very good! This whole box (Pictured) plus sides and large fresh container of naan bread was enough for 2 meals and was better priced than any other Indian buffet I’ve been to in town. Thanks so much for this lovely place, bringing the culture and taste of India to MidTown GR!

I love the curry kitchen. The food is always amazing. They have a nice little lunch buffet that always has about 5 meat dishes as well as a few vegan dishes (for those of us who dont eat meat) and pretty much always 2 types of rice, Plus an appetizer and a small salad bar. They also offer takeout on the buffet for the same price as dine in.

I went there for buffet. From an indian's perspective, the food wasn't as savory as I thought based on the reviews I read, but it was still 'good'. I should say that the naans there are really good. I wouldn't mind going there again for the buffet coz it's such a good deal.

The food is the bomb, the restaurant is clean, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly. It's my new favorite place for Indian cuisine in the Grand Rapids area. We will be back!

We ate here a couple of weeks ago. The food was excellent. The physical plant was nice. You can get a table next to the Grand River. Unfortunately the wait staff was kind of clueless, certainly not on a par with the food. The food itself would rate 5 stars the wait staff at most 3 stars. With several other Indian restaurants in the area that are outstanding in all respects a return trip might be hard to swing.

The food was good, Buffet is well priced on a weekday, and staff is kind and attentive. Could use some new decor though.

Apparently this restaurant inside the Radisson hotel is now called Taste of India, no longer Curry Kitchen. Just had an incredible dinner here!!! It has been a few years since I've eaten at curry kitchen and it's the first time that I'm at this location. There is plenty of parking. The staff and chef are so incredibly friendly. I ordered the biryani, lamb curry, and butter chicken to go. It was incredible!!! Tasted just like the old school curry kitchen on Fulton. On top of this, it's right on the river so the views are lovely. Highly recommend everyone come check it out.

We went for a buffet..The food is good..value for money...But one star less since no biriyani in the lunch buffet...for non- veg only chicken is available in buffet no mutton or fish or prawn..

What a little slice of deliciousness. Tucked away in a hotel restaurant is this little escape to India with a very basic yet rich lunch buffet of Indian food. The choices change daily and the flavors are impecable. There are a lot of options to choose from and the service was very personal. We would recommend this as an absolute visit for anyone who loves Indian food or wants to try it for the first time. Price $$ reasonable. Our only drawback was the worker smoking in the door opening we went in and were waived into by worker. Getting hit with a plume of cigarette smoke was less than appealing. After the fact though, we are guessing they prefer customers to come in through main hotel entrance. Open floor plan. Food excels where decor suffers.

Great food. Asked for it spicy and got it. Don't understand how something can be over spiced. I would say well spiced because it is Indian food and should have a good amount of spice it isn't mashed potatoes. Ate here again got their buffet was pretty good. Right in the river

My husband and I have ordered this place once a week for 5 weeks straight and it’s consistently epic. We’re obsessed. Love that you can easily customize the spice level. The veg options are fantastic. Whatever you do, don’t miss the onion bhajia! Everything we’ve ordered is just as good as any place we’ve eaten at in India. Highly recommend.
