Wow, this place was fantastic. Went there for the first time yesterday and am disappointed it's taken me this long to eat/drink! Their cocktails were well made, fresh ingredients, and perfectly balanced where they weren't too boozy but also not weak! As for the food, it was just as good as the cocktails. Enjoyed the vegetarian Shepard's pie and couldn't find it all. The lentils were perfectly prepared, the onions/celery/carrots gave it the taste that a traditional Shepard's pie would have, so you don't even miss the meat! Lastly, but more importantly, the awesome staff. Michelle was our server, she gave great recommendations and was attentive to her diners. Also go to meet one of the owners (Megan) who wanted to ensure we were having a great time and enjoying ourselves. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy bourbon, bourbon cocktails and really great food: One Bourbon is the place to go!

We had a GREAT time here! Meagan made this dinner special for my dads 60th birthday. The cheese curds were melting in our mouth and gone in like 5 minutes the corn dip was just as delicious. The scotch tasting for my dad was great! The fish entree was delicious and shrimp and grits were good. I loved the west mi salad and burger with bacon jam!! We stayed and laughed and enjoyed ourselves for a good 4 hrs with no rush and our server Danielle was AWESOME! So kind and attentive and laughed with us. Even divided the meals as we asked with no complaints. We will definitely be back when we visit Grand Rapids again. Thanks one bourbon cheers!!!

First time here was last week. The service was top notch! The food and drinks were great. I had the turkey Reuben and would highly recommend it. The hot cheese appetizer was amazing!! Can’t wait to go back, loved the atmosphere. We even had to buy some shirts!

One Bourbon was a great place with really comfortable ambiance. Our server, Kira, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and attentive without being pushy. The fried cheese curd appetizer was light and delicious. All our entrees were beautifully prepared, tasted great, and had a unique Southern flair. And the cocktails and bourbons were delightful. All in all, the best dining experience I've had in a long time.

I really love this place... it's authentic/real - rather than part of a large chain of restaurants. Love the down-home, warm feel - and the patio is a great urban space to enjoy a meal and/or cocktails with friends!

Great all around. Beyond the huge selection of whiskeys, the food menu was great (get the cheese curds!). Best of all, they had something for everyone. I'm not big on whiskey (but my husband is) and there was still a great selection of beer, wine and other craft cocktails for me to choose from. We'll be back!

Pleasant staff, good service with a menu that should cover anyone in your groups needs. The food we had was very good, the Bourbon selection was great (as you would think) plus plea ty of other spirits for those who don't desire Bourbon. Well back and bring more friends.

I came here on date night and we both really enjoyed ourselves. We made a reservation and we showed up 5 minutes early and we had to wait for half an hour after our reservation. All the staff seemed extremely happy and very excited to serve us. We ended up getting some drinks which run from 10 to $15 a person which were pretty good. We ended up getting the special menu in an appetizer and a couple of drinks and it ended up being around $150 before tip. Main dishes that we got were excellent and appetizer was good as well. This was for a special occasion but maybe out of my price range for the future.

My new favorite in Grand Rapids. The bourbon selection is phenomenal, so was the pork chop. Highly recommend the whiskey sour for after dinner. Say hello to Megan the owner who stopped by to say hello before we left.

Came for the first time last night and everything was pretty good. Large portions too. The pickles and hoppin John were my favorite parts. And definitely try the carrot drink with spicy tequila, so unique and so good!

We have been here twice and loved it both times. It isn't particularly special in a specific way but it is a very solid restaurant with great rotating food and drinks. My husband loves the whiskey flights.

I booked One Bourbon's Lounge and Oak Room for our company holiday party and I could not have been more pleased with the outcome. I had the pleasure of working with Meagan throughout the planning process and she made it SO easy and stress-free; their entire event planning process is very well structured. The night of, everything was perfect! Chandler took great care of our team! We opted for an hor dourve-style menu (not a full meal) but the portions and food were VERY impressive! No one left hungry, that's for sure! The food was phenomenal, highlights being the hot cheese, charcuterie board, Caesar salad station, meatballs, Georgia wontons and some amazing beef kabobs. The atmosphere was upbeat and sophisticated, while embracing the building's history. The staff was extremely attentive and also knowledgeable about the building, impressing our entire staff with fun facts. I would highly recommend One Bourbon for a casual night out or your next corporate party. From the food to the staff, everything was exceptional!

Awesome place! I'm new in town, and was trying to find a great place to just vibe out and drink good whiskey. This is that place! Bartenders are super attentive, good food, and a really wide spread of brown liquor.

An extensive list of bourbon and whiskeys! We tried a couple and also had an Old Fashioned from on tap, as well as a rye Manhattan. Very good. The food menu wasn't nearly as extensive. We had the deviled eggs, a salad, and the 12 Oz ribeye. The eggs had a unique hot sauce with them and were delicious. The salad was pretty normal. I loved the seasoning on the ribeye, although it definitely was done much more towards medium or medium-well vs medium rare. Still very tasty!

One Bourbon is a great spot in Grand Rapids, almost worthy of five stars. The atmosphere was warm and masculine. They had an extensive bourbon list, ranging from more typical brands to incredibly unique and uncommon, which you’d need with a name like that. The food was decent, although nothing incredibly notable. It was all well made, but could have had something a little unusual to make it really stand out in my mind from all the other restaurants on Bridge Street. Overall, still worthy of a stop. Especially if you’re into your bourbon!

We tried out the Restaurant Week menu and were blown away...it was fabulous! We had never tried Beef Tartar and it was a revelation. The salad was excellent but paled in comparison to the Duck Five Ways (breathtaking) and the chocolate dessert (to die for). Thank you for posting the menu in advance so we could make an informed choice about which restaurant to explore. We loved everything...including the unique cocktails. Meggan (the owner) came out to chat with us, and was so personable. It's a wonderful place with great atmosphere and even better food. Loved the cocktail kits idea (of which we purchased one). We will be back!

One Bourbon has a beautiful 100-year-old brick interior with a prohibition era hidden cellar but unfortunately is off-limits to customers. We had the Cajun White Bean Hummus and Southern Wontons which were both delicious and full of flavor. As for drinks we had the Sakura Collins and an international flight of various whiskies. Regretfully, one cannot select which brands to include in the flight, but they do offer a variety of pre-selected filled flights. Staff was knowledgeable and not once were they unable to answer a question about a particular whiskey. With over 400 whiskies and bourbons to select from, you can't go wrong. TIP: They do age their own brand of whiskey on-site, but is off menu.
