Great meal again!! Order breakfast for our whole crew last week to go!! They had our order ready fast, called when complete and everyone Loved their breakfast!! Multiple types of great omelettes and breakfast sandwiches!! Breakfast, the most important meal of the Day and Westside Nailed it!! Great job!
Have never been to Grayling before. We decided to see the blue ice at Mackinaw City and stay in Grayling that night on our way home. We stayed at Motel 72, and ate dinner at the Westside Diner. Big portions, great food, reasonable prices, and a wonderful server, Cassandra!! We couldn't have had a better dining experience! We'll be back tomorrow morning for breakfast!! Meh. Pretty busy place, but not the best around here. My server was a doll, though. She was very friendly and helpful. The Chicken & Biscuits were a pretty good portion and weren't horrible, but WERE very salty. Crazy salty. The biscuits were nice and fluffy, though. I might come back and try some other menu items, but that's a weak might.
Fabulous Breakfast. I just recently ate there. If you want a great steak and eggs I say go to the Westside. It's a steak that will fall apart in your mouth and it doesn't even need the salt and pepper. The service is friendly and you feel like a local the way they treat you. I know you'll come back for more.
Great breakfast, great service and an all around nice experience. Our waitress was Mel. She was on top of her game. Friendly and very helpful with recommendations. The blueberry pancakes with nuts of course for my way were more than one person could eat. All the food ordered was delicious, hot and tasty. Highly recommended
Perfect diner in the woods with exactly the kind of comfort food you want on a rainy day up north. Best Country Fried Steak I’ve ever had and I’m a fanatic. Get the accompanying buttered biscuit, baked in a sheet pan. You will swoon. Good coffee served in big mismatching mugs . Portions large and you won’t be able to stop eating because the food is so good. Menu items are classic, with some unusual like cabbage rolls. Friendly staff, silly beach theme in the middle of canoe country. I loved it.
I ate at Westside Diner and was greeted with a smile and a great cup of coffee. We both had the biscuits and gravy and it was amazing. The biscuits were fluffy, and the gravy a solid 9+ out of 10. We left full and treated wonderfully. We'll be back in a couple weeks. GREAT PLACE!
Nice little diner, food was good. Only complaint, it seemed the cook didn't bother to read the ticket, had to have some things fixed. They were fixed fast though!
The place was amazing and very nice to have a meal. Huge portions and great prices. Wonderful wait staff. They were pretty busy when I went so it took just a bit of time for refills. Other then that it was wonderful. Don't pass by and not stop. It's worth it for sure
A local mom and pop diner in Grayling Michigan. The food was decent and the staff friendly enough. The quality and quantity of food for the price was good. Neat and tidy inside. Easy to strike up a conversation with the folks at the next table over if you're feeling social. No complaints at all.
Just like any home style restaurant with a signature fish dinner on Friday, you will wait, but in my opinion, it's worth it. I got the Cod 2 piece garlic and pepper with mashed potatoes and gravy, and it was yummy 😋 if your in Grayling you must stop in and relax for a few and enjoy some Fish at Westside dinner.
I'm a local Grayling resident, but had not been to Westside in quite a while. The food was as good as it has always been in the past, if not better. Good portions, prices and service made this an excellent choice for breakfast today.

Food tasted great was made exactly as ordered. The waitress noticed my toast was burnt and offered without me asking to replace it.
Had a excellent breakfast here. They do an amazing job making creative breakfast skillets. Great value and friendly staff and good Service.

We love coming to the Westside diner whenever we are in the area, especailly for breakfast.
The food is always good and the service is always fast and friendly. It is a great small town diner serving up awesome breakfast and lunch.
The food was excellent. Our group had a breakfast burrito, the fried chicken on a biscuit and pancakes. The pancake order is giant! Highly recommend, can’t wait to go back.

We went on a Monday before my daughter's softball game. 3 o'clock ish. They had a boneless wings special. My wife went with the sweet BBQ and she loved it. 1/2 lb. I went with the 1 lb garlic Parmesan. Very tasty. Both came with fries. Definitely will return and recommend.
