I went here because I was taking care of my son's dog and they allow dogs on the outdoor seating area. They were so accommodating to my pup. The waitress brought him a large bowl of ice water. The food was great and at the end she brought him a small scoop of vanilla ice cream. He had a great time and so did we!

When in the area the Barrington Brewery is on our list to visit. Nice menu selections and the desserts are out of this world! Beers are great as well. Birthday tradition to go for a piece of their chocolate stout cake, always so good!

I loved the food! I got the smoked salmon salad and my husband got the BBQ Brisket melt. We both liked our meals and each others! He loved the beer and the waitress was knowledgeable when he asked her some questions about one of the beers. Well marked GF and vegetarian selections for food. I would go again for sure.

This is one of the best places I've eaten, great staff, great atmosphere, and even better food.

I stopped for a take out salad - which was excellent. Spinach w grilled chicken. I tried both the brown ale and the stout - really good stuff. Brought one of each home for my girlfriend who also enjoyed (at least the stout, so far.) The service from the bartender was outstanding as well. Highly recommend.!! 🍺🍺

Stopped in for a quick lunch - my burger was awesome along with the crunchy onion rings!! Although I didn’t try it, my lunch counterpart had the fish sandwich and said it was terrific. We took some beers to go and have since sampled them - from the IPA to the stout - all great!!

Thanks first to the cafe employee SkiButternut for telling me where the wonderful IPA they were serving came from. The pub a wonderful place where Tina remembers everybody’s name

Love this place. Miss the fireplace. I’ve never had a bad experience here. My bf has rarely had a good experience.just goes to show, different strokes for different folks.

It sits sideways, behind a furniture store. We turned in, to let the traffic behind us go by; and boom, we were looking for someplace to eat anyway. What a pleasant surprise. Absolutely top notch food and service. Highly recommended if you're in the area. Thanks for being open on Memorial Day, as most of downtown Great Barrington wasn't.

Randomly stumbled upon Barrington Brewery & Restaurant and had an amazing time! The atmosphere is brilliant, staff are friendly. Tried the Barrington Brown beer – absolutely brilliant. Enjoyed the special roast turkey with bacon on bread, onion rings, and a cup of soup – all tasted fantastic. Had two pints and left with a great impression! Not to forget the chocolate cake which looked absolutely delicious so I got that to go and enjoyed it later with coffee. That one slice can feed 3 people.

We have eaten numerous lunches and perhaps a dinner ot two here over the course of the last decade. The service is always great, and they offer a nice selection of house brewed beers. Photo #1 is today's first round: Nwe England IPA at left and the Raspberry Ale at right. The latter is a little on the sweet side as beers go, but delighful nonetheless. Lunch today was Fish and Chips. Past meals have include the Cobb Salad, Rueben, Beef Brisket and Burgers. They also have a chocolate cake desert that needs to be seen in order to fully appreciate or belive it. This place is highly recommended for anyone in or passing through the Berkshires in western Massachusetts.

This place is pretty decent. Ordered two hot dogs with fries and they were decent; similar to what i’d make at home. (bun was not grilled, hot dog was nothing special) Got their signature chocolate stout cake and it was HUGE. Also was very dense and filling. Shared it with four people total and even then we couldn’t finish it. Cake definitely brings ratings up.

Nice little spot for a quick meal and a good beer. Plenty of parking and room inside and out. Oysters are shucked fresh which is awesome. Had the summer shandy which was tasty. Got the Plowman's Lunch along with some oysters as a pre-dinner snack which was perfect!

Went there for dinner on a busy night during a holiday. The staff was very friendly and responsive. That was even more impressive knowing they were seating and serving two parties of 20+ while I was there. Even with those big parties, we were sat in a reasonable amount of time, waited on promptly, and food and drinks came out quickly. The food was good, and I recommend the brown ale for those who partake. Well def visit again my next time in the area.

We wandered into Barrington Brewery for a pint and a burger after a hike in the vicinity, and were very pleasantly surprised! The service was excellent, the beer was very good, and the burger was exceptional! The food was so good we ended up getting pie and cake for dessert, and they were delicious as well. The peach pie was possibly the best we’ve ever tasted. This place is a hidden gem!

Cannot recommend Barrington enough! Every staff member I interacted with was very pleasant. Short wait for a table, but the food and beer were fantastic. It was bucketing rain when I was there, but I can't wait to come back in nicer weather to try their beer garden.

Had a pretty good time here! Love the location. Lots of space for dining—wait staff was friendly. I had the brisket—I will say, it wasn’t what I expected but the flavor was really good. The chocolate cake slice was huge and tasty. Would go again.

This place happened to be next to our hotel, and I’m so glad we ended up there! Their Scottish Ale (pictured) was utterly delicious, with a rich, stout-like mouthfeel and a slightly sweet flavor. The barbecued brisket was wonderful, juicy and delicious (although the barbecue sauce, while better than average, was not as good as the brisket itself); the mac-and-cheese was yummy and decadent, and the cornbread was soft and sweet. This place alone is worth a trip to Great Barrington. They sell their beer in cans to go, and I can’t wait to have the Scottish Ale again, and to try the Black Bear Stout.

We were a party of three adults and a child. We ordered Cajun chicken sandwich, corn beef Reuben, chicken cobb salad and a kid's hot dog with fries. All of them were delightful and properly sized - we did not feel stuffed nor hungry, and we had space left for desserts. For desserts we had the blueberry-peach cobbler, flowerless chocolate cake and a stout chocolate cake. Out of these, the cobbler was the best. The slice of stout cake was huge (see the picture next to a child's hand or the pick of the full cake) and looked very impressive, but not really special flavorwise. The flourless chocolate cake was nice. Price was reasonable.
