Visiting the East Asian Cuisine restaurant was the perfect end to a day in Great Barrington!!! The food was absolutely delicious and it felt like they really cared about not just presentation, but about creating truly delicious and enticing dishes! 🥰 The waiter was so kind and perfectly attentive!! He may have been the owner, as he mentioned how the restaurant was his passion... which genuinely made it feel so wonderful to eat there!!! Some businesses feel overly commercialized and serve you as if you're just a number, but visiting EAC is the exact OPPOSITE!!! Our seating felt intimate, the menu was extensive and well thought out, and the waiter, again, had a wonderful heart and was so kind! The Scallion Pancakes were made with crispy perfection and came with a truly pleasing spicy sauce! My friend ordered and loved the pepper tuna, and I had the general Tso's tofu! 🤤🥰 What deliciously prepared dishes!! We'll definitely go back to try more from their extensive menu!! Old school chinese with some sushi and pan-asian options too! Reasonably priced large portions. Many vegetarian options incl. Delicious moo shoo. Loved the vegetarian hot and sour soup! Attentive waiter. Clean bathrooms.
Ok, so I need to share a secret... Growing up, there was a place in my town that reminded me of East and I brought that negative impression to Great Barrington with me. Trouble is, the restaurant I grew up near was NOTHING like this place and I'm so glad it isn't. We LOVE East! The staff is welcoming, comic and very knowledgeable about their menu. The food is authentic and extremely good! Make sure to stop in next time you are in the Berkshires, you won't be disappointed!
The vegetable Lo mein from here is so good that sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night thinking about it. Seriously, big fan. The broccoli is cooked perfectly and the noddles are amazing.
Service is also good, fast, and the atmosphere is nice. Restaurant is very clean and has never been too busy when I’ve gone. The fortune cookies are usually stale but that’s the only downside I’ve ever noted so far.
The East has an all around great environment, and they also have excellent workers. The food there is awesome 👌🏾 and they also make very tasty drinks that are always made to your needs.

The food was plentiful and delicious. I had the house special fried rice with a substitution of beef for the shrimp. If I had any complaint (and this is really petty) I would have put more vegetables in the house special fried rice, but I'm always greedy for vegetables. I also had the tom yum chicken soup, it was delicious and just the right amount of spice. One of my companions had shrimp with broccoli, she was amazed at how tasty it was and the presentation was beautiful with gigantic shrimp and lovely broccoli trees, the white sauce was well done and not at all overpowering. She also enjoyed the sweet and sour soup. My other companion started off with an vegetarian egg roll which he was very happy to eat. It was later than the usual egg roll. He had mei fun noodles with shrimp and vegetables, he also said his meal was wonderful the sauce was not overpowering and everything was fresh and balanced. I would highly recommend this place, the prices seem reasonable and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The employees were extremely passionate about their job. They treated all customers very kindly and put a smile on their faces. Service was fast. The food had a lot of flavor at a great price. There were many options for vegetarians and vegans. Serving sizes were perfect as well. The interior design was aesthetic and calming. Highly recommend 10/10!

Our first time to this restaurant last night with my family. We decided to give this place a try since our usual Asian restaurant unfortunately was closed. East Asian Cuisine has lots of variety, which not a bad thing especially we have a large group with kids & adults. We’re foodies, growing up in the restaurant biz, we tend to be a bit critical. We were pleasantly surprised this place food and services was very good! We ordered some of appetizers, soups, sushi rolls, many Chinese / Thai entrees & sake. The waiter that served us was very friendly and attentive, and the portions was good and quality of the dishes were very fresh and quite tasty. Not over priced at all, good value for what they served. When we come back to the area next time we’ll sure be back! Thank you East Asian Cuisine for a great meal. See you next time!
I love this restaurant. Toni the waiter is so sweet and attentive. Everytime I eat here, I try a new sushi roll. So far, they are all delicious and fresh! I highly recommend The East to anyone visiting Berkshire County
Went to the East restaurant on a late Saturday afternoon. Tuni was our waiter hope I spelt it correctly, outstanding and very knowledgeable with any questions you might have, will take the time to explain anything on the menu. Wife and I shared BBQ ribs which were very good. Wife had the snow mountain sushi which she really enjoyed. I had the tuna lover sushi which was also excellent. We shared the Kobe beef with tuna and salmon which was good. We took home roast pork lo mein and beef and scallops that were also very good. Kinda quiet around 3PM there but unbelievable service. Would definitely recommend if you enjoy sit down Asian food with excellent quality and good prices.
Nice staff, good food and we'll priced. I had the sashimi entree which was so nice looking I felt bad eating it. I ate it and it was delicious!
