First, the Board Head Cold Cuts are fresh and there is a great variety to choose.
Their sandwiches are awesome !
My Favorite is the Boars Head Pastrami on rye w/ mustard.
My husband's is the roastbeef w/ provolone on a roll, mayo & s&p.
Now, the salads ! No one can compare ! I love them and my family and friends always expect three pounds of each & 5 of potatoe when I entertained family.
Now, in Florida we always make Greenway a must stop when we're in New York !
Greenway Deli Rocks !! #1 on North Shore .❤
I have been going to this deli for as long as I've lived here (over 45 years)! The food is wonderful. However, I've noticed of late that the staff doesn't change gloves between customers. They take the next order and handle food (with those gloves) after handling money and other things on the counter. Please change gloves between each order!
Decent deli sandwiches. Pay a bit more but a generous portion. Wish it came with a tomato and pickle. A slice of cheese would be nice.
Best crews and the best deli anywhere I’ve been to. Plus great management.
I love greenway deli, I get breakfast sandwich every day, my grandson loves it too
Food is what you would except but the prices have really soared up. Hash browns were very greasy and stuck together. This should not happen. Service is fast and mostly pleasant.
Was on the island for a wedding and found this deli shop. Got the breakfast special called The Cardiac Arrest. Not to take away from Guy Fieri, but I went to Flavortown. Great people, great atmosphere. When I make it back to the island, this will be my first stop.
Good, fresh food, lots of specials, reasonably priced, worth a stop in if you're in the area!
Great food, fantastic service. Highly recommend this deli.
There are only a few deli spots in Greenlawn/Broadway and Greenway is the better of them. Sandwiches and wraps are decently assembled, generally well-portioned and have adequate flavor/seasoning.
The location can be tough, as it shares a parking lot with Value Drugs and Dunkin Donuts, and the store itself is a bit dated (although the Hess Truck collection is cool to look at, even if the motif makes no sense).
Four stars because while prices have risen a bit all-around (nearly $14 for an eggplant parm whereas Gino's or Piezanno's charge between $9-12), they still don't include a side salad or pickle with a hero! It's a relatively inexpensive touch that many other places already do to round out a meal.
My Sammy was a amazing and I had the best time there the food was awesome I had the best time of my life and the staff was looking at me but I didn’t care I loved the food
BEC Long Island style. One of the last 1980s style delis on the island. Can't go wrong here. Great service, great food, great prices. As local as local gets
I absolutely love this deli. They have a great selection of food that they can make for you and they also make dinners you can bring home. Every one who works here is very friendly and is quick with getting your order together
Tried this place because I always pass it, and I was not at all disappointed. The egg sandwich was delicious and everyone else enjoyed theirs as well. We will be returning for sure.
My favorite deli. German style. Lots of good German specialties. Frozen home made dinners are great. I always keep a couple on hand for a quick easy dinner at home. Great saurbraten & potato dumplings.
