Very nice, friendly place with excellent service. We could see that there were customers of all ages, from families, to couples who were obviously on a date dinner, to seniors and single diners. A universal place that appeals to every generation is hard to find nowadays. The food was pretty good; our party of six tried the philly steak sandwich, the country style steak, the rib-eye steak, chicken soup, and pasta with meat sauce. Everything was well done, and tasted delicious, prices were decent. The waitress even offered to replace anything we didn't like with another meal from the menu, which we found very customer oriented. If you happen to be in the area, give it a shot, won't regret it.

Absolutely outstanding food and service. Can't wait to go back. I'll have to wait for another Saturday though. It's a mad place during the week. All the staff are awesome! Probably the biggest and best Club Sandwich, I've ever eaten.

My wife and I had a very good experience at Smith Street Diner. I hadn't been to this spot since it was Robinson's Restaurant back in the 90's but the staff was courteous, the food was delicious, and it came out quickly. I'm going back and I definitely recommend them.

Wait staff was great they were laid back on top of it and joked with us. The cabbage was amazing. They added some eggs to a chicken philly for me. It was amazing

There was a line at the door, a good sign and it moved quickly. My omlete was fluffy and packed, loved the green and red bell pepper combo. The coffee was hot and plentiful. I will be a regular.

Wonderful spot for breakfast! Small, but packs a lot of punch. If you have to wait, wait. Service is quick and tables turn over quickly.
