Fish was fast and fresh. I had flounder with fried okra and slaw as my sides. Slaw had the appearance and taste of not being homemade but otherwise it was a good quick meal. The fish was not overly seasoned/salty which was great.
I see people here complaining about pricing however it’s unfortunate some don’t seem to understand the economics of running a business. When their cost rise (as many cost in the U.S. are up these days), there is only so much the business can do to absorb those cost before having to pass some of it on to the customer. I found the cost and portion size to be more than reasonable.

Love the task. The guy that was on shift when I went in was very nice and actually explained some of the items on the menu and not expect me to know since it was my first time trying a place like this. Food was good, HOT, and fresh. Definitely would go back again.
I visited 42 Fry on 4/20 for the first time and wow was I in for a treat. The customer service was very good and the food was excellent. I had no idea what I was missing right around the corner from my house. I got three dinners and everyone said the same thing Delicious .

Awesome seafood location. Food was fresh and well prepared. I had the fried oyster basket, the wife had the shrimp tacos. My oysters came out quickly. Super hot and crispy. Tasting very fresh with s slight corn meal taste to the breading. They even asked when ordering how crispy I wanted them fried. Now that's a cook that knows fried oysters. My side, the Cole slaw was sweet and creamy and well chilled. The wife's shrimp tacos 2, were crispy and large. She loved the cilantro lime sauce included. Her hush puppies were crisp and slightly sweet.
Got my heart set on the catfish for our next visit.

FANTASTIC CATFISH SANDWICH. Great flavor and the portions are large. My wife had the shrimp and catfish basket that also had large portions. She is hard to please and she gives this place a 10.
