Spent a few days in the area at a cabin. First time in the area. I did some research prior to our trip and saw this place. This was number one on my list of restaurants I wanted my family and I to go to. So happy we were able to. Great spot.. everything was absolutely delicious. Best crab cakes I've ever had. Great value for what you get too.
I love gushing about our amazing restaurants in the area and Overboards is also one at the top of the list! πππππ, πͺππππ, πππ πππππ, ππ π½π¬πΉπ ππππππππππππ... he buzzes around keeping everyone happy as they wait for drinks AND he pushes his cart around serving table side Bananas Foster - it is amazing! They also make the ABSOLUTE best Cosmo's πΈ (seriously trust me on this one)... AND the final bit of entertainment is their old fashion sign marquee with witty quotes... The best seafood Iβve had. We split the crab stuffed shrimp and the fried mozzarella. The owner and waitress were amazing and treated us like locals! Amazing, canβt wait to try more!
Truly a hidden gem! Honestly, it is dated. The friendly staff, great service and delicious food takes you back in time. A time when it was a pleasure to go out to eat. The prices are affordable and they offer many food and drink specials. If you are in the Lake Wallenpaupack area, stop by... you'll love it!
This is most definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. We have never had anything but amazing meals here. Everything is delicious .Some of our favorites are the coconut prawns for an appetizer and the tuna martini. If you want a great meal this is the place.
Just wow! Absolutely outstanding. The chef knows food here, and you can see his passion in every single bite. The vibe in this restaurant is one of a kind. Our server, Lisa, was the sweetest and so hard working.
2nd time here. First was spur of the moment had to sit at bar and eat. Ordered filet mignon rated it 8.5 of 10 had to come back to try again at table service. Made reservations they squeezed us in same day as call tried to order filet again but they were out? Friday night out already 5:30 pm? Very disappointed but ordered the strip steak. Steak was cooked perfect but sauce on it was just ok. Dinner does come with warm bread and side salad both were delicious

Our waitress was awesome!!!! Raw oysters were fresh and excellent. Main course were fresh and delicious. Great place for seafood in the area. We will return.
We were in town for our family reunion and of course could choose no other restaurant! The food was amazing! I had the scallops, π, and our desserts were so delicious! Our thanks to Chris and wonderful waiter and the hostess. September 10th, 2022.

Everything was fantastic, Will our server was on point. We ate early, 4:30PM....suggest you make reservations for the weekend if you want from 5:30-7:30PM. You wouldn't expect to have great seafood choices prepared so expertly in the Poconos but here you will. I was going to do the scallops but then I saw Pork Osso Buco...We started with Coconut prawns with Thai Melba dipping sauce; perfection. House salad with house creamy parmesan dressing, they served a healthy portion on the side, didn't need to ask. My wife had the sauteed scallops with creamy pesto; they were seared to perfection; crusty rim and tender inside. The Pork Osso Buco was braised so that all the fat goodness was rendered out and embellished the rich demi-sauce. Served upright on a perfect portion of mash potato, a generous chunk of tender carrot that was on the the brink of disintegration from the slow braise. Along with some summer veggies with their crispness a juxtapose to the whole dish. We had room for dessert and coffee. Stop by this warm friendly spot on the side of the road and find a new go to for your list. YOU LUCKY LOCALS! Very nice old style neighborhood bar too!
Adorable little place in the Poconos. It was worth the trip. Espresso martini always awesome, and so was my shrimp and clam ciippino!
Food was amazing.I recommend 100%.They made it perfect and it was filling.It was stellar and the soup was delicious.
Terrific menu the food was excellent I will comment on the overt bathroom smell hopefully they can do something about that otherwise I've come to expect The Rustic sort of dining experience in and around the lake area
We had an amazing experience. The food was delicious and definitely save room for dessert. The bananas foster is amazing!!!

The service here is WONDERFUL β€ Chris greats you with a wonderful smile that makes you feel like you've known him your whole life π Melissa our server didn't miss a beat. She explains the menu, specials and drinks. I asked her for garlic butter (not on the menu) so she made the judgment of setting both sauces on the side, PERFECT!! The table side π³ (photos attached) is a garlic lover's dream β€ prepared by Mr. Chris himself (hopefully the vide plays)
Very quaint little spot. Atmosphere was casual and laid-back, but elevated. The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend Overboards.
