Knowledgable staff, great traditional kava experience. We ordered the half ceremony and drank it traditionally in a tanoa the way it's been consumed for thousands of years. The fresh pineapple was a nice treat after hiking all day!
I've had the good fortune of visiting many kava bars in the U.S...and I've gotta say, the product Gabe and team serve at the konnection is some of the best. I think I would go so far as to say his kava and the way it's prepared is my current favorite. It's consistently great and the atmosphere of the bar itself is very down to earth and friendly. If you're looking for an alternative to the obnoxious bar scene, you won't find a better place in Greenville!
This place reminds me of the Pacific Islands I've visited. Educated, informative, and friendly staff... Really clean. Excellent menu depth and breadth and the Kava is on point. A great addition to the Greenville scene. Wish I discovered it sooner... Congrats!

Moving to the area soon and so happy to find such an amazing new place to hangout and make friends. 'Game Night' was terrific, Open Mic is as well, and the drink selection rivals (and oftentimes beats!) that of any other Kava Bar I have visited. Owners/staff are upbeat, knowledgeable, and friendly, and the overall vibe is amazing. Deserves more than five stars!
I learned about this place from my doctor who recommended Kava to help me with stress. I read up on Kava and made a visit. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful & welcoming, and the patrons here are great & interesting! I walked in as a stranger and ended up being part of the kava family! The location has tables (just like a coffee shop) and a bar area that serves non-alcoholic drinks like coffee, kombucha on draft and others in addition to kava!
This is a great place to socialize without the negative craziness that accompany alcohol, it remains open until 2AM just like a regular bar! I have seen patrons bring their children and dogs. Or bring ukulele and guitar and play & sing. This place also has so many board games that customers can use during their visit! In addition, there are themed nights like poetry & karaoke!
This is a great find in Greenville! I wish we had more non-alcoholic social clubs/bars like these!

I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. It was our first time ever going to The Kava Bar. I went for my birthday outing. The staff was helpful and patient with our indecisiveness and numerous questions. Their choice of music was perfect. Great alternative to the loud bars, I could really enjoy my friends company. Even the customers were nice and easy to talk to. Price was about the same as an alcohol serving bar but the atmosphere was much better! I will be back!

Tried Kava for the first time yesterday. They were very welcoming and informative (we had stumbled in parched and looking for a cold alcohol free beverage). The initial free taste was amazing. We relaxed and were chatting up a storm. Highly recommend if you want to have a deep conversation, play a game (with the free games provided) or just hang out in an alcohol free atmosphere.
Took my wife here for a date. Relaxing atmosphere, games easily accessible, seating arrangements designed for conversation. The kava tender was knowledgeable and friendly. The kava was good and really put us both in a great mood. A perfect date. Would recommend. I recommend you open a tab, I didn't and I kept coming back for more.

I have Trigeminal Neuralgia and Small Fiber Neuropathy; upon doing research Kava was listed as an alternative for the pain. I followed the instructions, warmed it as a tea, and added honey. It has an earthy taste, and it does calm my facial nerve pain, especially when I'm working in the garden; heat is not my friend.

I purchased their Kava from the website. I'm local, but due to health challenges/medication, I’m unable to drive. Delivery was the best option for me. I anticipated a tracking number within a week. That didn't happen. I reached out twice with zero response. If I would have received a response, even one stating they're running behind on shipments, I would have waited. Unfortunately, I requested a refund from Pay Pal, it was granted, so I did receive my money back. I'm sad because I love supporting local small businesses.
Very chill atmosphere. Everyone there is so friendly and talks to you like you’ve been friends for years! The drinks are also pretty good and the staff was lovely ^_^
The most mellow spot in Greenville. If you're tired of the traditional bar scene and just want a place to chill out then head here. Kava is a game changer just like this place!
Love that place! We regulars but are currently traveling so we ordered kava from The Kava konnection and it came with a cloth strainer and detailed instructions so we can continue to enjoy one of our favorite drinks. Highly recommend The Kava Konnection! Great people!

My nephew recommended I give this place a try, and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere is very welcoming and relaxing, I've been coming for nine months and, despite being a 40-something, I feel right at home. The Kava Colada is my go to - although the on-tap Kombucha is also fantastic. The staff are all fabulous: Jessica K, Ryan, and Katarina are quite enjoyable to talk with! As someone who has never cared for the bar scene, this place is in a class of it's own. Give it a try if you're in the mood for something different.
