This grocery store truly is my Big Y. While their prices on commercial items may be higher than other grocery stores, what makes it special is their store brand products. From pizza to seafood, Big Y makes quality food. Hopefully, after shopping here, it will become your Big Y too!
Love their party sized pizzas. They can be made
as quickly in a matter of 1-2 hours. They have grinder station, chicken wing bar, a rotisserie station with some of the best whole rotisserie chickens I’ve had, freshly prepared seafood-not to mention a full menu of seafood dishes.
Like shopping in this huge supermarket. Its nice and very clean and costumer service personnel are so helpful and friendly. It has so much to offer with their huge isles. It right next to my best market Stop n Shop.
Of all the grocers in the area, Big Y is definitely my favorite. Always well stocked and neat. Employees are always very friendly and helpful. And the cakes from their Bakery… oh My! 😋
Clean as opposed to the other food stores. A great produce section with lots of fresh veg and fruit that's much better than Stop & Shop. The bakery section has a great selection of fresh desserts and breads.
We love Big Y. We don't have one close to us in Waterford anymore, unfortunately. We are moving to Groton soon and will be shopping and using their pharmacy. We stopped by the Groton store recently on our way to to an appointment and were delighted in the food selections. One question, where, in Groton, can we redeem gas points?
