This is our go-to restaurant for special family dinners. Everything I've tried has been one of the best dinners of my life! Steaks and burgers, seafood, prime rib, pork chops, game meat... all of it, absolutely delicious. The prime rib is literally the best cut of meat I've ever had. Buttery, melt in your mouth perfection. Service is great even on a busy weekend night. Very family friendly with a comfy old-time country diner vibe. I've tried some new things for the first time here, like gator tail and elk sausage, and it's all been so good that I would gladly anything on the menu again. Even the burgers taste so much more fresh and delicious than anything I've had at a chain. Absolutely worth the drive and located on a beautiful country farm, we always enjoy saying hello to the farm animals behind the restaurant too. We always look forward to going back for birthdays, vacation and holidays. Thanks Red Wing!

Dianna served us for my mom’s birthday celebration. It was our first time visiting too. We felt so welcome. She knew the menu well, and was super helpful with packing up our left overs. The building is cozy, and the food was tremendous. Each of us ordered different things and all of it was excellent. They have different specials each week. We went on Tuesday with all you can eat cod and shrimp. Our entrees came with soup or salad (highly recommend the tomato soup!) and garlic mash with veggies, or white rice. They have 2 homemade salad dressings. My boyfriend ordered the combo with gator tail, frog legs, and catfish, my dad had the blackened tilapia, and my mom ordered the steak tips. Good portions, well plated, and super tasty. We finished off our meal with the best peach cobbler I’ve ever tasted with ample amount of peach to cobbler ratio, and a slice of orange cake. Thank you for the hospitality and great time!

Nice little local place. Gator was great. Fried fish and shrimp had good seasoning. Orange cake was soo good. The place made sure we could get our wheelchair bound daughter in.

Great food!! We shared the Catfish, Gator and Frog leg combo. Never tasted them before. Very fun to try them all!! The fried green tomatoes and battered artichokes were delicious. Best of all... Dessert, homemade fresh cherry cobbler with ice cream!! So amazing.

First visit last night after reading outstanding reviews. I was super excited to visit and did not leave disappointed. You know you’re dealing with great chefs when even the mashed potato and veggies make you pause, and smack your lips! We had fried pickles and fried green tomatoes. Fried gator tail, although that’s my one disappointment. I had hoped to get the gator head plating as I had seen in others photos but I did not. Nonetheless the gator tail was best I’d ever had, by far! My friend had the pasta. I enjoyed feasting on the Hunter’s Platter: quail, boar, and pheasant sausage. Good eats all around! I couldn’t stop talking about to my husband when I got home and can’t wait to get him up there to try. Outstanding hidden gem!

This is a great little "Off the beaten path" place with dirt parking and a wonderful good old boy interior. This was topped off with good service and simply fantastic food... I'll definitely go again when I'm the area.

Our hidden gem. Food was fantastic and service very friendly. Prices fair but don't expect a bargain meal for this quality. We had elk chops, duck sausage, boar chops and grilled quail. Been back 3x. We will be back again.

This is an amazing place. The service superb and food fabulous. When we say game entrees we mean hunters specials. My husband had the hunters platter pheasant sausage, boar and quail, with double fresh vegetables (zucchini, yellow squash and carrots). I had the prime rib with veggies and rice. Cooked to perfection (medium rear). We started with fried green tomatoes and fried pickles. We took a dessert to go blueberry cobbler. Portions are large and everything is so fresh. I can’t believe it took us 6 years to find this hidden gem. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️+
