The ribs are very delicious and the tri-tip fries are worth it every time. The place is very open with a lot of tables. We went thinking we could watch Thursday night football but they only had reruns of old games on.
Tried this place off recommendation. First off, the Rib Line is connected to a casino. The parking lot was a little busy, but the restaurant was empty. 2 of us were greeted at the hostess station and sat immediately. We sat near other people dining with plenty of open space. I asked if the TV could be changed to MLB all-star game, and that was no problem. They even asked if I would like to move closer to watch. I agreed. Service was good. The server seemed new. Special was presented, and we agreed to order. However, I wanted to try the hot wings and a side of beans. The beans were great
I would like a little more heat but tasted fine. Hot wings were a little too wet for my liking. I ordered the spicy BBQ. Not bad at all. Great back kick to wings. Just wish they didn't have so much sauce. (Preference for me) special was tri tip tacos. I asked the server what was on them. He never mentioned cabbage. (Again, Preference) I do not like rabbit food with tri tip. Tacos were shredded tri tip. I guess I thought I was getting cubes or sliced tri tip. I didn't ask so I couldn't complain about it. The shredded tri tip taste okay. Not the, knock your momma off the couch tacos but needed a little more seasoning (Preference) I will never knock a chef for their work. I am a big BBQ person and shredded anything needs a little help.
Overall not bad. Place has a lot of seating, a few tv's and a few games to play. Will I be back. Yes. Probably very soon for round 2.
We visited Rib Line for the first time today for a wedding tasting after the restaurant was recommended by a friend. We had a magnificent experience! Chef Brian, one of the owners, personally walked us through each dish, explaining the history of its creation, and helping us design a menu that fits us as a couple. The food was absolutely delicious, the customer service incomparable (from the hostess that sat us, to Brian serving us, to the Rib Line catering team organizing the tasting - shout out to Krystal and Melina for their continued communication while simultaneously juggling one of their stores flooding from the storms) , and the cherry on top- they offer competitive pricing.
We highly recommend Rib Line! They are clearly passionate about food and creating positive memorable experiences for their customers.
We tried a few different things.
Yes! #1 chili, big pretzel, so good! The Spicy BBQ wings 😋 Ron Dale's music 🎶 great 🎶 this place is here to stay!
Love this place. Very friendly staff, food is so good. A must when we come for our vacation.
Went for bday dinner on an off night so it was pretty empty. Staff was friendly. Food was awesome! Pulled pork sandwich is highly recommended. And get the Mac n cheese. Worth it!
Came here at almost closing time on a cool June Wednesday. Thankfully they were happy to seat us. We started with two ipas. And I ordered pulled pork (B) and baby back ribs (A) with mac-n-cheese (A) and corn bread with honey cinnamon butter (A+).
We just enjoyed the Wednesday night special. It was delicious! The Tri Tip and chicken were tender. The staff was attentive and service was great!
Thank you and we'll definitely see you again soon!
Met the owners while having lunch at Pismo Beach! They asked me how I liked the renovated Pismo Beach wharf. Told them I was from SF and don't remember what it was like before! Told them I was not impressed w/ the tri tip I had at the "Old Slo" and that my friend had recommended this place called "Ribline"? They both laughed and said they owned that restaurant! I asked them what else I needed to try there and was recommended that I try the chili?
I went there and honestly have to say it was one good tri tip sandwich! Had some tasty chili and you can taste the smokiness in the ribs!
Lots of parking, not far from Pismo Beach, and fast and good service.
Great location with a ton of room. Rib line probably has the best tri tip sandwich in the SLO area. It's just so much better than the competition. This location has a fun arcade to keep the kids busy. My wife loved the pulled pork sandwich she had. Kids menu is a little pricey but everything seems to be in this area.
They have a surprisingly large parking lot too which is great
This place has some delicious fries and baked beans. Chili is a little spicy though. The Brisket sandwich, Kiss by the Piggy was delicious and saucy! Definitely recommend ordering that for first-time visitors!
