After reading the reviews I was hesitant to even try this place. Fortunately one of our group had eaten here while in flight training at NAS, although many years ago. We all loved it, every appetizer was very good, all entrees were great! I will definitely eat here again, and I do recommend it.
Family has been eating here for years and the food has been quite good. Good fried crab claws and baked fish. The Greek desserts are very good as well

Very good food. Service too! Older place and atmosphere but food worth it.... Will return
Simple fresh food--no surprises. If the chef can't get the quality you can't order it.
Satisfying Salad. The Grecian Vineyard Salad was bursting with fruit and flavor. I'm rarely satisified with just a salad for dinner, but with all the chicken and delicious fruits on top of a bed of fresh leafy lettuce, I was completely satisified.I definitely recommend this salad! The rolls and dip they give you when you sit down are delectable, too. Service was friendly, too.
Great local/family owned restaurant, one of the best in Gulf Breeze, definitely the best seafood and steaks in the whole area. Go in or call for takeout, you'll be glad you made the choice for Aegean Breeze
Great food. Very laid back atmosphere. Not what I would expect saying a Greek restaurant. More steak, seafood, pasta. And there are a lot of Greek touches.
Excellent Seafood. This local restaurant has great seafood and Greek dishes just maybe not what some are looking for in Greek food. The lamb chops, pork chops, steaks, seafood and sandwiches are wonderful. With Pensacola being such a seafood-based city, you would think we would have an abundance of good seafood restaurants but, sadly that is not the case. Possibly because the restaurants are chains and get their seafood, portion controlled and already seasoned from some inland mfg. company shipping it in from China instead of buying local seafood and supporting our fisherman. Pensacola depends heavily on tourism but the restaurants seem to not care about whether their patrons will return (since they're from out of town anyway) and the service and quality of food reflects this. Aegean Breeze has always relied on locals to support it during the on and off seasons and the quality of their food reflects this. The fried shrimp and oysters are both fantastic, crispy and not greasy, not to mention a sizeable portion and the shrimp are big (two-bites per shrimp). The pita sandwiches are fantastic, especially the shrimp and the grilled vegetable pitas (get the mayo on the side). The bread is soft and warm and stuffed with ripe, tasty tomatoes, lettuce, and of course, your choice of gyro, chicken, shrimp, or other fillings. They're usually too fat to eat with your hands without making a mess but, feel free to try, if you dare. I live in Pensacola, have no ties to the owners of this restaurant but, I've got to say whenever a visitor asks me to recommend a good seafood restaurant I tell them to go to Aegean Breeze or just go buy it at Joe Patti's and cook it yourself. Their menu is quite varied and I'm always tempted to try something new when I go but, then again, there's the shrimp and oysters, calling my name. It's a bit pricier than some other restaurants but, you will definitely be getting a better quality seafood - just not a lot of choices on how it's prepared. I hope this helps you make a dining decision when visiting our fair city - finally making a comeback after oil spills, hurricanes, etc. - hang in there P'cola!
Great Local Dive. Great stuffed grape leaves! Everything here rocks! Great service!
Totally wowed by this place -- again!. I have been going here for years for the best seafood in town, especially the calamari. If it isn't fresh, the chef will not offer it. I have never had anything here that was not delicious. I had heard that they also make an incredible burger, and on a whim, thought I would try it. A seafood restaurant serving a burger? How good could it be? In true Aegean Breeze style, it was AMAZING!!! It was probably the most delicious burger I have ever eaten anywhere. The flavors of the beef and the cheeses and spices were a perfect blend. I never expected a seafood restaurant could make a burger this good. Sure, the pork chops and lamb and steaks are fantastic, but the chef has elevated the mundane burger to new heights. Congratulations, Stavros. You wowed me again.
Aegean has one of the best steaks and Greek salads in town...always yummy!
Great steaks and seafood. The Aegean pork chops are really good too.
Great local place to eat. Here on vacation, found a place that the locals love. The wait staff was good and friendly, the food was awesome, the olive dip they give you with rolls is out of this world GOOD! I had the lamb chops my wife had the Shirmp Pancetta.Lots of seafood dishes and steak. You don't have to love greek food to eat here TRT IT YOU"LL LIKE IT
Great Sandwich and Wine Joint. I've tried the chicken marsala and some other dishes, and really didn't like the quality. Almost thought it was leftovers.
I do like the wine selection. They have a reasonably priced bottle of red wine, and their sandwiches are excellent. The restaurant has a good atmosphere as well.
I like this place.
I went with my 2 best friends. The pita bread is great and the seafood pasta was flavorful. I'm always looking for good chicken Alfredo and this one did not disappoint.
Three for dinner on a Saturday night. The wait was very limited. Quickly served, with a variety of dishes. From the delicious starter, complimentary on the house. Our meal was the best for the three of us. We had the seafood platter, and the grilled shrimp. Most certainly not a disappointment. So good we're looking forward to returning very soon. This place is one of the cleanest in the metro area of Gulf Breeze, and Pensacola. With friendly staff, and the owner is there to see your enjoyment is important. Highly
recommended. Worth the drive from where ever you're coming from.
We came in an hour til close with 15 people. Most restaurants and servers would be incredibly annoyed but the man serving us was great. He made the whole time we were there enjoyable and didn't rush us. It meant a lot to the whole family considering we were coming back from a funeral. Major props to him and the team working that night! The food was also great!
This place is a hidden gem. Gavin (the owner) met us at door and promptly seated us. Our server (Sylvia) quickly took our drink order and delivered a wonderful bread service with an olive/feta mix in olive oil, yum. We had the broiled shrimp and gyro sandwich. The food and service was excellent throughout. The meals with capped by a wonderful Baklava. We highly recommend Aegean Breeze.
This quaint little restaurant has delicious food, good service, in a clean, pleasant, welcoming environment.
We had the Baked Feta with Seasoned Pita Bread, Fried Veggie Platter, and the grouper. Everything was fantastic. I frequently recommend this place to friends.
Everyone in my group LOVED their meals...this is my "GO TO" spot when I'm in Gulf Breeze. They have never failed in service or food quality for anything we have ordered. I had the eggplant sandwich, others in my group had the blackened grouper salad and grilled shrimp salad. Every plate was picture worthy. I love the gyros or steak for dinner.
I love this place. My favorite is shrimp and artichoke salad with a side of crab meat.
Yumm. I have gone there for many years under original management as well as new owner. Never been disappointed.
I recommend this place to everyone.
I personal worked here back in 2003. Best food and boss ever!!! Employees super friendly!!. Can't wait to hit this almost hidden gem!! Going soon. I can tell ya that everything is fresh and cut daily. This is definitely 5 star dining!!!!
Just got an Aegean Burger and some hummus. Blew my entire mind. It was easily enough for 2 meals. The price was beyond reasonable for the quantity and quality. I kind of feel like I got away with something. Everything was so fresh and presented so nicely (even in my to-go order.) I've eaten here several times over the years, but this was top notch. I will definitely go back and recommend it. Thanks.
Absolutely delicious and great service. I didn’t end up with what I expected but they did everything to make me happy and meet my desired plate. Definitely coming back.
Locally owned and operated. A little tough to find for this out of towner but worth it. The eggplant sandwich was amazing as was the cooked spinach. The grilled grouper was cooked well, nicely seasoned and not dry. Best pitas to date.
We have tried Greek food at other places but this place beats them all...very authentic...very good...and brought back some good childhood memories! Very pleasant experience and wonderful service! If you are fortunate enough to get Alex as your server, you will be very happy...he is a very nice young man! We will be back on our next trip to this area!

This restaurant never disappoints us -- we've been coming here since the original owner opened 20+ years ago. The new owner, Gavin, kept everything we love about the greek food and improved on everything else. The place is immaculate, completely remodeled from kitchen to bathrooms to main seating. The water and ice cubes are even purified. The service is efficient (shout out to Teryn today), the wine, especially for the price is GREAT. I've never had a better gyro anywhere, but my husband tried something new, shrimp Rockefeller on tomatoes -- WOW. All this, wine, great food and I hope a good tip for under $40! Don't miss having a meal here. Pride of Gulf Breeze.
The free bread dish starter is amazing. Feta cheese, diced olives, garlic, and olive oil. Plus the bread itself was fresh and fantastic on its own. Not to mention the grouper melt was a perfect mix of crunchy and savory.
This is in my top three restaurants. The Greek, Italian and their Seafood is top notch. The price is a good value. One draw back is one server is kind of finicky, but i still go back.
