i loved this place!!! food is a little more pricey than Mexican food is normally, but it is very worth it. the satsuma margarita was the best!!! waiters were excellent.
This place is by far the best restaurant in the Gulfport area. Michael is a margarita master and a really great server. We come here all the time and their stuffed avocado and their Mexican pasta are to die for! You will be so glad you came to this rock star restaurant!
Always fresh, always good food, meals take time to prepare and that's how you can tell it's not pre-made! The final touches as culinary art always shows up on your plate! We love going there for that best quality. It's our favorite Mexican place on the Gulf Coast, by far..
I can't stress how refreshingly different this place is compared to other mexican restaurants. The atmosphere is very comfortable. My server Michael was very knowledgeable and gave me some of the best service I've ever had on the coast. Fantastic all around. Will definitely be back.
We were there last night: delicious!����. Great margaritas, delicious duck, shredded chicken enchiladas, pork chop, & eggplant with queso blanco & vegetables with a creamy sauce with corn tortillas! Great restaurant!��
Ate here on Saturday. At first we were a little concerned because we were the only people there, but this place was amazing. Food was good, watermelon margaritas were excellent. Service was very attentive. Prices were fair considering it's near a beach. Only thing to be aware of-after first chips and salsa basket they are $1 each. Not a deal breaker and it is printed on the menu

Friends and have eaten there often. I always have the stuffed avocado with chicken, and I have never been disappointed. Yesterday there were six of us for lunch. Each one of us had a different order, and the staff made sure we all six received our orders at the same time. Comfortable atmosphere, excellent service, excellent food.
This is the best Mexican restaurant on the Coast! We love the service and the food is amazing! And Michael is our favorite waiter ������
El Aguila Mexican Restaurant is a wonderful place to eat. Our waiter, Michael, was very cheerful and pleasant. He made our party of 6 feel welcomed and at home. He made recommendations according to our preferences and checked on us to be sure we were pleased. The food was fresh and flavorful. I would go there again when in Mississippi.

The stuffed avocado, ceviche and margaritas are off the chart! Best Mexican on the Mississippi Coast by far and should not be lumped in with other Mexican Restaurants. Must experience for yourself.
First time here. Drove all the way from OS because my girlfriend had been here.
I must say the BEST SALSA around. AND they make a Pineapple Salsa as well.
AND they offer the Happy hour drinks in the dining room.
We shared the Tuna Ceviche which was way more than we expected. Very fresh and tasty.
Then we shared the chicken fajitas and also very good.
Definitely be back.
First time at El Aguila and it was fantastic. Everything we had was made from scratch. We ordered the guacamole that is made tableside. Chips were homemade, light and not greasy at all. For dinner I had the steak fajitas. Meat was cooked to your liking, homemade corn tortillas. We also ordered the chicken enchiladas that had wonderful flavor and not drowned in sauce. Great cocktails, wonderful staff. The owner/ chef came out and checked on us as well. Definitely be back
Start to finish excellent authentic Mexican food and service. The chips and salsa are fresh and I know this is an a opinion, but the heat in the salsa was fine with both my wife and I and that is tough mark to hit. We had the avocado stuffed with chicken and the mole poblano. Both were delicious and portions were spot on. The building itself inside is beautiful as well. A very nice experience all around.

I've been dying to try this place for weeks after it being recommended and for their amazing menu. Let's just say it did not disappoint!! Their menu isn't overwhelming but offers plenty of substitutions for each meal that anyone with dietary needs will be able to find something. Personally I'm vegetarian and it's always difficult to find a place that gives many options for me. Well for the first time I had so many options I wasn't sure which one to try first!! Our waitress was great and was extremely knowledgeable about every item on the menu, gave recommendations and shared her opinions. My hubby had the red fish and our waitress brought him their homemade corn tortillas on the side so he could make tacos if he wanted. He cleaned his plate and loved every bite. I had the veggie fajitas and they too were amazing. They also made me a pineapple mojito which was awesome!! The only downfall to the place is the lack of parking so if they are busy it is difficult to find a spot.
We will definitely be back!!!!
My wife had grilled eggplant, very rich but was very good. I had The Mixed Grill, was so good I would eat this a few times a week. I highly recommend you come in here and try in this place
I had stumbled upon this place after a co worker had tried it out. Went for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised! Friendly staff, very cool environment, and the food was great and not too expensive! Will definitely be returning!
El Aguila is not your normal Mexican restaurant...it’s Mexican with a flair! The restaurant is in a Cute Older style home with beautiful landscaping and gorgeous string lights on the beautiful front porch. It’s the perfect place to spend a romantic evening having a nice dinner and drink from the large drink menu. The inside is decorated very eclectic and the tables are dressed with crisp white tablecloths. They have a good size bar inside perfect for a ladies night and they also have a private dining room area too. The owner is so friendly and makes his rounds to welcome you and that always nice. Tonight I had what’s called P5 Chicken.... it was delicious! My son had the steak quesadilla, my dad had Mexican burger and my step mom Had Jamie’s grilled eggplant. We had table side guacamole & cheese dip and they were both great too! The waiter was very friendly, professional and always had our glasses full. All in all it was GREAT!
