A great find in the suburbs for Mexican food with vegans and vegetarian options. Even the vegan places in Chicago don’t have all these dishes in one place so it’s worth a try!
The couple who ran the restaurant was very warm and attentive. They bring such a friendly vibe to the place!
And we loooved the food. The tortilla chips with the pozole slapped, the cactus nachos and flautas were super flavorful. Special mention goes to the jibarito with eggplant which was absolutely fantastic. Whenever I’m up in Gurnee I’ll be sure to come again.
Just ate here for the first time tonight, after a day at Great America. Their food was absolutely fantastic. Everything was fresh and so flavorful. I will definitely be making this a regular stop whenever we head up to the theme park.

It's easy to find tasty places, but it's hard to find ones that are both healthy and unique. Momcorn is both. 5 star indeed.

Originally we were going for subway but saw their sign outside so decided to check it out. Let me tell you !!!!! They have bomb Jibarito sandwich!!! Omg this is rare in lake county area and on top of everything it was so delicious!!! Salsa has an awesome aroma and taste. Their street corn is natural and delicious too. My wife and found a new spot ! So happy since we're Originally from Chicago sometimes we don't feel like taking the drive. But this spot here is a gem ! My wife had the steak jibarito while I had the al pastor jibarito. Let also add my jibarito was loaded with pineapple cooked perfectly!

Outstanding food! Mostly vegan choices but they have meat options as well. The beans and corn tasted extremely fresh - not overcooked and dried out. Wonderful service too!
We will definitely be coming back even though its a 30 minute drive - well worth it!
The vegan options were incredibly flavorful! I had the taco plate with one of each of the filling options on house made corn tortillas - super tasty, and satisfying without feeling way too full. And the staff was so friendly!! Highly recommend
So many vegan options! We got the cactus nachos, the chimichangas, and the flautas. The food was terrific, and the service was great. Wish there was a Momcorn in Minneapolis!

The entire menu is vegan and amazing choices. We ate it so fast and I forgot to take photos but we will definitely be back. Generous portions, plenty to take home for another meal. The owner was friendly and checked to make sure everything was good.
I had his recommendation of the Jibarito and my husband had the fajitas. We also had guacamole and chips. And for dessert the sweet strawberry tamales which were so good with a hint of guava. Highly recommended.
To be honest, I was a little nervous coming, because previous reviews had said how loud the music was. Did not find it too loud at all, and we were sitting right by the speakers. 
Wow! Absolutely brilliant vegan Mexican! We had the loaded cactus nachos--the meaty texture/flavor of the cactus was amazing. Also had the green pozele and flauta plate, both of which were fantastic. Super nice people. Fast service. Took one star from atmosphere just because the AC was blasting and we like it hot but otherwise flawless. Look forward to stopping back in soon!
