Not the healthiest but definitely good. Got the philly cheese steak with cheese bacon fries and it was great
They literally only get a 4 because I think it's weird that they use cheese whiz for melted cheese on the subs but otherwise always made fresh nd good.
The food is amazing, especially for it's price and speed! You get to watch the employees cook it right in front of you, so it's always fresh and hot. Amazing Philly Cheese steaks, and other things too, like buffalo chicken sandwiches. Highly Recommend
I wanna get the bad stuff out the way first. So the prices here are a bit more than most sub sandwich places, but boy is it worth it! I've been coming to this place for years. I wish there were more locations. I moved out of Gurnee and one of the places I miss is Charley's. The food is always fresh and very flavorful. The subs are stuffed with meat. This isn't your typical sub place. So if you like hot fresh good food. This place is worth checking out. It's one of the few places that the food looks like the pictures.
Charlie's is by far one of the best Philly steak restaurants around. The staff at the Gurnee location were very polite and understood my order correctly the first time. The grill and prep table was clean as I got to watch my food being cooked. I am looking forward to my next visit!
Lines are long mealtimes (to be expected) but the staff move through like clockwork ensuring the orders are right the first time.
Only complaint is that they dont put enough bacon on their bacon/cheddar fries
Great Chicken & Philly steak sandwiches! Their Lemonades are really good both Peach & Strawberry Lemonade! Definitely a place to get a fresh regular/flavored lemonade.
They make some banging Philly cheese steak, and the yummy bacon cheese fries, a little pricey but buying from here once in a blue ain't bad:-) I would DEFINITELY come here again!!! I would recommend this place to anyone.

I looooooove this place to eat at. They’re so friendly and make your food in a decent time frame.
My favorite combo is chicken philly sandwich/cheese fries/strawberry lemonade. The employees work in this location are pretty cool and friendly as well.
