When you have one of the very best servers there, I won't complain about the food not being as hot as I would like. Jessica has a great memory as she always remembers what we like and how we like it. She has a great personality and shares it equally among her customers. She has outstand attitude, as I have never seen her stress and share on the floor. She's a great sense of caring and sense of humor, too. She makes the 25 minute drive worth it. Servers like her are hard to come by and is what makes your business strive. Thank you Jessica.
The restaurant was super packed today and the staff was terrific. Our server Adriana was pleasant, positive, and hard working. The atmosphere was very clean and the food was terrific. I was able to use a rewards coupon and saved a considerable amount of money. Thanks for a wonderful lunch before our movie.

I may not come in on a regular basis but they remember me whenever I come in which Always make me fell welcomed. Adriana will always forever be my favorite sever. But even afterwards the manager Eric on duty tonight made sure that out late night out felt like we were dining in a finer dining. We needed something extra later on and because they are a team Moreno came assisted without hesitation. That was just great at seeing excellent service and the willingness to help was AMAZING!!!

Went here to have a birthday breakfast with my sibling. The place was packed from 11am-noon while we were there. Our server was amazing and bubbly. Always made sure we were having a good time. The other people around us all were laughing and chatting having a good time creating a very positive atmosphere. I ordered a build-your-own burger which was delicious but was already falling apart before I could pick it up. Parts of the bun were already breaking away as I tried to handle it. My sibling got the premium chicken tenders figuring that would be the safest option. They normally love the tenders but the ones they received were not great. The breading was very dark and some parts didn't even have the breading on them. The taste wasn't very appealing either. On a brighter note, they did provide plenty of fries. When checking out I was called up to the counter by what seemed to be a manager. I was using some birthday gift cards to pay which accidentally stuck to the receipt from residue glue on the card. I was having a difficult time balancing everything in my hands and separating the receipt from the card so finally she helped pull the receipt from me and seemed very irritated. I proceeded to put my tip amount in and go to swipe the card which wasn't registering at first. The manager stared off into space irritated ignoring my struggle. Finally, an employee took over the transaction and the cards went through. The employee finalizing my transaction was very sweet. We then left with no other issues.
Update: Went back on a Thursday at around 2pm and had a much more pleasant experience. The staff was nice and the place was obviously way less busy. Got a different dish and it came out much better. I plan on choosing the time I go there more wisely in my future visits.
We had the sweetest waitress this Thanksgiving evening who was handling multiple tables and working very hard to try to keep all the customers happy on a busy holiday. She did it all with a smile and kind word. The cooks were having fun and did their best to be friendly too. Just want to say that the great service from her and the delicious food from the cooks was a wonderful Thanksgiving experience and we will be back because of the great vibes at this restaurant. Happy Holidays Denny’s staff!
Last night I went to dinner at Denny's (6429 Grand Ave, Gurnee, IL 60031) around 9pm, Eric helped us. He not only served our table, he also collaborated in the kitchen so that our order came out quickly. Eric made our experience great. We will return to eat at this restaurant. Thanks Eric.
Food was awesome. We were seated pretty quickly and it was pretty busy that night. Our server was great he forgot a couple things but it wasn't that big of a deal. The food came out pretty fast and everything taste great
This Denny’s location was great! I stopped in on a Sunday morning at 9:30 I was greeted with a smile and seated immediately and once again greeted by a friendly smiling waitress. This Dennys was very clean ,My food was wonderful. Dennys are real hit and miss for me Sometimes it’s a top-notch restaurant and then sometimes I wonder if I’ll even get out of there alive. Id go here again i enjoyed my time here.

Sat down and within SECONDS was greeted (asked if we wanted coffee) and in less than three minutes ordered. In about 5 minutes, had our order. Portion was more than adequate and was able to take so e hone WITH some coffee to go! 👍
Special thanks to our server, Noah. He was awesome. It was really busy from the Great America crowd rush and Noah was able to handle an entire section by himself and do it with a great attitude. Thanks to Noah for providing a great experience to me and my family during our late night dinner.
I was here Sunday the 17th. They were short staffed but My breakfast was so good! The host greeted me with such a nice smile. Bathrooms were clean. They did a magnificent job

The food was great, smaller portions then before but still good . The manager Amanda was amazing, you can tell that she was doing everything her self,they need to better staff at night poor girl was running around like crazy while and older lady was just standing there talking to the servers.
My first time ever eating at dennys, my surprise was that this location didn’t have a drive tru. The food tho was way better than I expected it was good. I’ll definitely be back, price not cheap tho🤣🤣
We were waiting for someone to come to the table to ask if we needed anything for a while I had to get up and ask for things. But overall it was a amazing time and I would definitely come back again!! Food was sooo good! Try the oreo shake!!
