To be honest, it's been a while since I went out to a coffee shop with my dear friend Gwyn, but this Saturday morning we decided to get back to the tradition of it all. She chose Shelburne Falls because it's currently her favorite coffee shop, she goes there like every Thursday. So we drive into the parking lot, and it doesn't exactly look like a coffee shop from the outside, but then again, what's a coffee shop supposed to look like? I had driven past there so many times without ever knowing what it was. The shop was busy, I mean, Saturday morning and all, gotta expect that. At points there were lines out the door. Tons of UMass girls, kinda intimidating because they all look the same with their straightened hair and full faces of makeup. We snagged a table and set up to do homework after we ordered. I got a large soy latte and Gwyn got her usual, a spiced maple latte, she said it was really good. Both of us burned our tongues on our drinks, but to be fair that's mostly user error because we can't wait for anything. The bathroom is way in the back around the corner and behind a tapestry, so it felt like a forbidden place. There's a sign up front that points to it though, so easy enough to find. The bathroom itself was real bougie, there's a nice chair and wardrobe, except its also super drafty, so I can't 100 percent garauntee that it's not haunted by a ghost. All in all, good customer service, good coffee, and good vibes.

Good company, great coffee (the coconut is addictive...), delicious and affordable breakfast sandwiches made all day long... Made fast and accurately *most* of the time. Hadley and Shelburne locations good, Greenfield not so much - quality control on sandwiches and more not so good there, and location smaller, less charming, not appealing. At Hadley location they readily replaced a mis-made order and gave refund for another. They'll teach novices about coffee drink types, and create a drink based on what you describe.

Food is good but the peach cobbler latte is not good. Soooo thick and syrupy.

SF has outstanding coffee and exceptional service- every time. No exceptions. I have been so impressed with their safety procedures during the pandemic, and continue to recommend them as my favorite brand of local coffee. Their sandwiches are also fabulous!

Frequent stops here because I absolutely love the coffee. It never tastes like it's burnt or been sitting for too long, unlike with some places that seem less careful of the freshness of their coffee. Delicious food, too. Breakfast sandwiches are among the best, always fresh and hot. Friendly staff tops off my favorite things about this place - especially the Hadley location! The folks behind the counter are very individual and personable, not cookie cutter type workers who put on fake smiles. Genuine people, a great crew, who also leave the whole cafe feeling inviting and clean. If you have the time, at least drop in for a quick coffee or tea run to help support a great cafe.
