Love the smashed potatoes and white gravy. Meat loaf and green beans. A good place to eat. Friendly. O, I forgot the hamburgers.
On our way to Peoria my son asked if we could get something to eat. I pulled out my help app to see what was up the road. Ironically when I first seen it I thought it was Wendy's.
We took the exit and parked behind the building. An old building with some character. We walked in and set at the bar.
Weezy's is trading on nostalgia, of course, but it has the feel of real, and you can't fake having been in place for 80+ years. My breakfast sandwich was good: hot, toasty-buttery, not overcooked. There's good space for dining outside and our server wore her mask. It's bicycle-friendly, too.
I've eaten here several times before. Food is very good. Prices are reasonable. Just yesterday I had their quesadilla special. I got a chicken quesadilla, chips with white cheese sauce, sweet tea, and pudding for around $10. Servings were very reasonable. My husband and I were full when finished
Great friendly service, great music, great comfort food! I cannot day enough good about this place! I read some reviews before we came, and since it’s a day before a holiday, we called ahead to make sure they were open. They answered and we are so glad they did! We are driving a great distance be
