This was my first time at Harolds today. It was a bit dirty, a bit old, the menu prices ever covered up with tape...the hours of operation seem to be a bit shotty. That being said it very much felt like a ma and pop shop. The food was the best chicken I have ever had in my life. It was about 3pm and just a few people were there so no big rush. The what I took for the daughter running the register seemed a bit stress like all food workers have been in the 2020-2021 years. I was as polite as possible, asked how they were doing and dropped a few bucks in the tip jar. Everything started to relax. I just got some wings and they came with waffle fries and a slice of bread. As I walked out to my car the cook came out (what I took as maybe the mother) and gave me a few extra sauces to try...very courteous and polite. I see a lot of people being mad about this or that...but I am telling you, you are missing the point...the food is amazing and at a great price. At the end of the day that's all that matters.
