My girlfriend and I were in Hampton Bays visiting family and we were craving sesame chicken. We are originally from Queens and we can never seem to find a spot that can make sesame chicken the right way. We decided to try Kong Chen and they absolutely nail the sesame chicken! Everything about it is perfect, the delicious sauce is so sweet and savory. The chicken pieces taste very fresh and came out nice and crispy. Simply the best sesame chicken I have ever had, I wish they made it this way back home. You can tell they put a lot of love and quality into the food, im sure a lot of other things on the menu are delicious, do not be hesitant to order! It seems like this is a family owned business and they simply go above and beyond to satisfy the customer. Gems like this place are very hard to find, appreciate them and support them all you can ! :D Thank you Kong Chen for a first delicious experience with your sesame chicken, I will definitely be coming back to Hampton Bays just for your food! My girlfriend loved it, she was so happy!
The family that runs this place is very nice and the food is absolutely delicious. Usually food is ready quickly, but on my latest order it took a while longer. Now, for me that's bit a bad thing, as they were extraordinarily busy and the food is worth the wait. I highly recommend trying out their food, as I've not had a bad meal here yet.
Ming Garden was my favorite in Hampton Bays before it closed, but I'm so happy Kong Chen is here! Food is great, service is quick. When I don't feel like cooking and want Hamptons Chinese, this will be my go to!
A very good and fast Chinese take out place. The combination platters are a great value, and include an egg roll and fried rice. They close on Mondays.

From the outside, this place looks like a thousand other Chinese take-out joints. But this place is special. It is a local family-run business that consistently serves fresh tasty food at remarkably low prices. We have been ordering regularly for years, and every time the food is delicious and the service is fast and friendly. Kong Chen is a Hampton Bays gem.

Absolutely delicious, clean and they are very personable. They recognize everyone so there are a zillion return customers from Hampton Bays and this place is just great. Just when you think the Hamptons are overpriced, you've got to come here and for 30 bucks you've got enough food for 3 days
Went late last night and they were so busy and phones ringing but the staff greet you and make sure you were taken care of. I had the shrimp toast lots of places don’t make them but they were huge and greasy goodness very juicy too. Lo mein and shrimp and snow peas are good I did find the fried rice a bit dry and darker then I’m used too. I’ll definitely go back and very organized get food together and out quickly
It has the best Chinese Take Out I found around with great prices. Always took take out each month because of the great food and great prices.

Best Chinese food place in town, hands down. Also in my opinion it's just The Best Period. Great service, food is always hot and fresh. If they make a mistake they will fix it immediately no problems. Well managed and everything moves swiftly, you do not wait long.
