This is a pub. Hamburgers seem to be popular, but they have specials during the week. The atmosphere was good. People seem happy here. It's a pretty simple place.
I saw other posts about it being weird because it was all white people. Well it is all white people but they were so nice and the food was awesome. My husband is Mexican and as soon as we walked in the door. We were greeted with a “WELCOME TO MILL CREEK”. We play pool for free while we waited on our food. We got fried founder and the steak bites. We ordered the steak bites medium rare and guess what?? They came out medium rare ON THE FIRST TRY. this place is a total dive. It’s a flip flops and hoodie kinda place but the people and the food are legit
Its a great place with great food that has a lot of older white folks that visit on the regular. Not many young people visit and maybe a handful of folks from other ethnic groups. Everyone is friendly and there’s no place that has a colder/cheaper beer in Hampton. They have an outside seating area and a small indoor bar with a few tables and booths. They got a free pool table! They have great service all around with the waitresses being very quick on their feet and respectful. No liquor is served here. No issue. Probably helps keep people from getting rowdy. Its more like that bar that you regular after a hard day at work and you’re looking for a decent meal/beer. Not a place you go to party/pick up a date. Unless you’re old folks trying to knock the dust off. They have daily specials on food and regularly hold charity events for people in need. All in all, a good place to visit on the regular.
Mill Creek is a cool little quaint spot. We stopped in here as one of the stops in our poker run. The server was extremely attentive and asked us multiple times if we need anything. The inside was pumping the ac which was nice as it was a little toasty outside for an October day. There's a little pool table inside and a few seats at the bar. The outside sitting area is where this place really shines. Huge patio with several seats and large umbrellas to keep the sun off of you. You can sit outside and enjoy a ice cold drink. I didn't try their food but I didn't hear any complaints from anyone eating. The one major downfall is the gravel wrap around parking area/road. I don't think there's an opportunity to make it larger but I would be really nice if they got the money together to pace it. The parking area was upstaged by the fact they have PBR. For the most part, if a place has PBR and good service they'll get 5 stars from me! 😁
If you like burgers, and a cold beer for lunch this IS the spot!
This little hole in the wall has given us some memorable home cooked meals when we are in town. We only have been there for lunch but the food is good fresh and very reasonable. It is dark and cozy and works hard for the dive feel. But it is clean with swift friendly service. There are a couple of pool tables but not much playing a lunch time. A real locals kind of place.
